   Great food and service. Only complaint was that I called to see if we could make a reservation for 7 instead of 6. Was told no even though the dining room was empty. Only table was our table for 6 ( which could have held 8) and another table of 6. We went to celebrate a birthday and had to omit some family bc 7 couldn’t be accommodated, even after we called to specifically ask. We will be back it was just frustrating that everyone didn’t come bc we were told no room.

   The food was actually quite good. And they gave us samples of the wines. Our server, Dominique was great!!

   Great birthday, getaway for the wife and I. Loved the atmosphere, food, and Red Flight Wine. It was not the first visit.

   Hostess took initiative to give us option to eat inside due to chilly weather. Aaron, our server was attentive but not intrusive. Wine was very good and food was delicious and fairly priced. Beautiful venue.

   Always top notch service and food. Wines are getting better but not my favorite for Virginia wines

   Beautiful setting. We sat outside and unfortunately it’s self service. And food served in disposable containers. Otherwise excellent.

   This was our third time dinning here. This place is fantastic. Excellent food friendly crew and fantastic atmosphere. Definitely give upper Shirley a try.
