   I REALLY HATE to write this review but my experience was not positive at all. The waitress took our drink order and when she kept walking aby us to engage other guests, and did not return after 15 minutes, I went to the bar to retrieve our drinks - which they had no record of. I decided to move to the bar for better service. When I went back to my table to get my adult daughter, the waitress was there talking about she "has" our drink order - to which I responded but no one at the bar does. She hadn't put it in and was not apologetic about it at all. I told her we were moving so things would not get worse. When we approached the bar, the male bar tender immediately said "Oh no ma'am you cannot bring the little one in here." I was appalled but I calmly said excuse me sir - she is 30 years old. He then said "oooh my bad" Totally inappropriate and unprofessional. If he had a question about her age, why not just card her? I felt so bad for her and that was it for me. I knew I would not enjoy the dining experience after that.

   Great menu and the food mostly delivered. Biggest issue was overall service. Sever was well meaning but inattentive. Half our meals came out a full 5 minutes before the other half. One of our meals never came and it was tough just to flag down help. When we asked for something it was taken care of swiftly but it was just the waiting and looking around for someone to help. Based on the service I wouldn’t go back but the food was above average and fairly priced. Excellent Bloody Mary!

   I loved It, my food was very good, the vibes made the place, It was quaint and quiet, so mentally refreshing !

   Me and my son did brunch here this morning and had a great time. Booked it and was seated in less than 5 minutes. Waitress was great the food was great and the atmosphere was great as well. I like the music as well. This is my go to spot!!! Also parking in the parking deck is nice and if your there for less than 90 minutes it’s free( remember to bring your ticket with you)

   Uptown Yolk was a delightful stop for brunch. The comic book decor set the stage for a fun experience, which this was. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. Menu options were great, especially the dulce de leche latte and sweet potato waffle. While some items lacked a bit of seasoning - the mojo hash and the bacon egg and cheese yolkwich - that was easily remedied with salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Parking validated up to 90 minutes in the adjacent garage.

   Love the vibe here! The food is consistently good! The service personnel are kind. The music is definitive of my culture & taste, and it’s just an all around great experience. I’ve been here about 5 or 6 times and I would highly recommend!
