The food is really just ok. Starter is Food court level; Fish is burnt in some area and lack flovor; Fruit is not fresh with some fridge smell. Great view though.

Server was amazing, ambiance is unmatched as you can see all of Toronto without the crazy traffic. Only thing is that the food is very small portions and not what you would expect. I ordered a salmon and it was the smallest piece surrounded by 100 potatoes.

I visited Valerie on the recommendation of a good friend and had a fantastic solo dining experience. I arrived a bit early and checked in about 10 minutes before my 9 PM reservation. The hostess greeted me with a cheerful smile, which is always a plus. I had previously requested a table with a city view for pictures, and I was happy to see they made sure to accommodate my request. Big points for that! I was escorted to a lovely spot with a great view. My server, Dillon, was amazing—attentive and personable. I opted for the Winterlicious special and had already chosen my options beforehand. Unfortunately, they were out of the Sea Bass (so sad!), but Dillon recommended the Salmon dish instead, which I went with. For my appetizer, I chose the Salmon Tataki—absolutely delicious! I could have eaten more, lol. The Salmon entrée was seasoned beautifully and was a definite hit. Still, I need to return for the Sea Bass, which was my original choice. Dessert was the Raspberry Ice Cream Sandwich—a delightful surprise since I'm not much of a dessert person these days unless cheesecake is involved, ha ha. But this treat totally hit the spot! There was live entertainment, and the performer nailed every song, creating the perfect Friday night vibe. It truly elevated the experience. Valerie, you owe me nothing (except that Sea Bass, ha ha)!

It was the most bra experience we’ve ever had! We celebrated my boyfriend’s 30th birthday and it was incredible! From the king’s staff to the delicious food to the music! There were no misses at all. We are extremely satisfied! 10/10!

Upon arrival I was taken by the beautiful view facing East to downtown Toronto. We could also see the Billy Bishop airport. We were greeted by a nice smiling girl who showed us to our table. She took my lartners coat which was nice. The place wasn't very big. We were greeted again by a male waiter. I ordered water & he gave us the Winterlicious menu. I was in awe of the view. We ordered a glass of wine, 5oz $21. Pricey for Italian wine. A tall, thin blonde gave us our wine and didn't even smile or talk to us. I found that rude after we had been greeted by two smiling staff. Finally made our selections. We started with Salmon Tataki. 8 pieces of torched salmon sashimi. It was very good & a nice presentation. We ordered the Yakiniku Beef as our main. That plate arrived with a cut up striploin steak (just warm) on a lotus leaf, a small dipping dish of sauce (very good), a blob of Wasabi pickles & a blob of salt. That was it. How lonely it looked without an accompaniments. My striploin had lots of grissel & it was overcooked. My partners was perfect. I did notice & I had to ask where the kitchen was. It was upstairs. Ah ha that is why our meat was just warm. For dessert I ordered Assorted Mochi which consisted of 2 balls, as big as a tidbit, with ice cream inside of them. My partner ordered the Matcha & Raspberry ice cream sandwich which was about the size of a small Dads cookie in roundness & about 3/4 inch in height. He said it was good but it wasn't very big. It was a nice treat re the view but not worth the $65.00 price. I guess we paid for the view.

My experience at Valerie exceeded my expectations. The staff treated us very well and were very kind to both me and my girlfriend. The place is very cozy, perfect for a dinner with your partner, and the view of the city is incredible. The food was delicious. In my reservation, I mentioned that it was an anniversary dinner with my girlfriend, and they gave us a delicious dessert as a gift—a detail that my girlfriend loved. The menu prices were very affordable. 10/10, I would definitely come back without a second thought.

Honestly, NOT worth the $$$ and we went during Winterlicious!!! The food was very mediocre and the service was weird, as if they were all first day on the job. Plus when you book for Winterlicious they sit you in their lounge area, when you book it doesn’t mention that. Overall, it’s just not worth it. If the food was better and the service then I would not have minded the $$$ in the end…. BUT, it was NOT!!!
