Valhalla an underground lounge bar nestled beneath the Olderfleet building and Freyja Restaurant off Collins street. The iron gates will lead you to find the doorway to a cosy place for a drink.
With contrasts of exposed brick, leather lounge chairs & relaxed atmosphere, creates an intimate location for a special occasion.

Unfortunately the hours are not correct, and the phone/social media is unmanned. Extremely disappointing to find that the venue is closed despite maps and their own social media saying otherwise.

We had pre dinner drinks at Valhalla. A great bar tucked away a little below street level. Lovely interior and ambiance. Not noisy - so we were able to chat easily. They had a range of cocktails and drinks and the staff were friendly and helpful. A hidden gem.

Great downstairs bar off Collins Street, unique in-house takes on classic cocktails, as well as their own inventions, well worth a visit. Staff were all friendly and knowledgeable.

The venue was lovely, staff efficient and helpful. The food was outrageously priced for bar snacks. The food was delicious but at $16 for a small bowl of 7 baby potatoes was robbery

Too noisy, I could barely hear anything during our intimate conversation. However, the waiter was nice as he tried to be accommodative.... although nothing could be changed.
