The Valley Restaurant brings a European feel to Niagara dining. Tucked away on a quiet street in north St. Catharines close to Niagara-on-the-Lake this trattoria style restaurant serves homemade Italian inspired cuisine. Everything is made in house from the fresh baked bread, fresh pastas and sauces, gelato and incredible desserts. The menu includes veal, seafood, steak, a variety of pasta dishes including gnocchi, lasagne, ravioli. There is a full cocktail menu and fabulous wine list including local and imported selections. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a large fireplace, intimate tables, white linen tablecloths and impeccable service.

    Ambiance was amazing. Service was outstanding and very attentive. The best part - the food! Recommended and it did not disappoint. You know you are in a good restaurant when people pass you on your way out and tell you it is so worth the wait!! Our new favourite place!

    Food was excellent. Service was exceptional. We were there around 6 p.m. as we were almost done around 7 more guests arrived and it got a little noisy.

    Entrees were amazing! I had a lemoncello sauce on mine and it was so different and delicious!! Service was so great. Dessert was so so good. Not our first visit and will definitely be back! My only very tiny complaint... Bruschetta was extremely messy to eat and ridiculously strong onions (took over flavour of all else), would not order again but presentation of it was impressive.

    Every trip we make to the Valley is great... Last night we had their pasta specials, Ravioli Pistachio which had a creamy, rich pancetta sauce. Spicy sausage and penne which was not super spicy and one of us had Veal Parm which is always a family favorite. As an appetizer we shared and enjoyed the Insalata di Bresaola which has a super delicious salad dressing. Try it out... its always worth the trip!!!

    Excellent meal at a reasonable price at this family run hidden gem. You need to make a reservation. It was full on a rainy Sunday night in November at 6pm.
