The Valley Restaurant brings a European feel to Niagara dining. Tucked away on a quiet street in north St. Catharines close to Niagara-on-the-Lake this trattoria style restaurant serves homemade Italian inspired cuisine. Everything is made in house from the fresh baked bread, fresh pastas and sauces, gelato and incredible desserts. The menu includes veal, seafood, steak, a variety of pasta dishes including gnocchi, lasagne, ravioli. There is a full cocktail menu and fabulous wine list including local and imported selections. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a large fireplace, intimate tables, white linen tablecloths and impeccable service.

    Food was excellent as always. Trio of Veal, Lasagna and Fettuccine was very enjoyable. Also a Tortellini stuffed with mushrooms was enjoyed ... ambience is nice. a little tight in spots but we had a wonderful evening ... thank you for making a birthday meal very enjoyable ... Outstanding is a good word. :)

    Excellent evening. Food was exceptional. More attention needs to be when arriving and waiting for table. In fact if you are going to charge for a no show best to have the table ready on time. Outside of that no complaints.

    We had heard a lot about this place. We were given a gift certificate and kinda had to use it. It was fantastic. The food was amazing and fresh, the service was friendly and always with a big smile. Make sure to make a reservation... the place is always busy. Not hard to figure out why once you been there.

    Their Italian food is authentic and all homemade. Although, the bread is basic but served with olive oil and balsamic. We experienced five meals which were superb... Veal, chicken, eggplant, lasagna and alfredo. Nicely decorated and good atmosphere in a renovated home. Parking is very much a challenge when the restaurant is busy. We found a couple of open parking at 5:30. We will definitely go there again.

    Excellent service but food is barely 3 stars. Mussels were not tasty at all. No flavor except overpower with “wine”. Bread for Italian restaurant should be a lot better

    great food, great service. we were not rushed and had enough time to completely enjoy our dinner. We would recommend this restaurant to everyone you will not be disappointed. if you have never been you must try it.

    First time at Valley and wow!! Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and the food was amazing!! Highly recommend Valley Restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal!
