   Well, we went to Vapiano, kent st, yesterday 15Nov, we ordered for starter food a Burrata, for mains 2 pastas and 1 lasagne, the Burrata supposed to be the first plate on the table before anything else (it was the last) 3 people were waiting for the food at the same time but the lasagne arrived 14 min after the pastas... this restaurant was excellent the last time I visited (1 year ago).... I think I won't come back...

   The food is good & great value, but service is lacking. We had to keep asking where drinks were and wrong drinks were delivered. The QR code ordering system meant our table of 9 were all served separately & some were well & truly finished before others had been delivered meals.

   We enjoyed the prosciutto pizza and fettuccine carbonara pasta. The food and drinks were fairly priced and well portioned. The only problem we had was where we were seated which was right next to the stairs. Even with a booking and request for somewhere quieter, we were placed in the area with the most foot traffic and was unfortunately too loud for our liking. Still would love to come back and try other menu items.

   A nice plate of food But they have drink deals and having ordered the beer which was also on the drink deal I was still charged the full price. Very impersonal service when ordering on a QR code

   Easy to book online. Arrived in time for Happy Hour before our meal booking time. Easy to order and pay. Prompt polite service. Great food and drinks. We will return.

   I reserved high up seating a few days prior but when I got there I was given a table in the corner that had a broken light. I asked why I was downstairs if I reserved the upstairs seating and the server said said it’s full. It kind of seemed like he didn’t care because I wasn’t the type of person to argue. Food is good, cocktail jugs are delicious, food is expensive for the quality but the ambiance and free bread makes up for it in my opinion :)

   Food was good. The waiter took one of our IDs to hold until we made the payment saying they would return it at the checkout. Well, she forgot and we didn't realise it wasn't returned until a little later. We came back to collect it and also simply made the comment that it was disappointing. Then the floor manager looking person went straight to defending themselves saying that if we had used the QR code app to order (instant payment) it wouldn't have happened. We explained it wasn't about that as we were told thr ID would be returned when we paid and it wasn't. After a few more comments back and forth, he finally said "don't come back then" and walked away. The whole lunch experience was tainted by this inappropriate behaviour by one person who was facing restaurant patrons. Of course we would not come back, but please pay heed. The food is expensive for average Italian. Don't go there.

   The food has gone downhill. The pasta was so overcooked and the gnocchi was so mushy. The sauces used are definitely not fresh. Bottled yuck. The flavours were terrible. The whole experience of going up and choosing your pasta etc has been taken away. That’s what made Vapiano so special Now it’s like any other restaurant where you order online. A big fail and we won’t be going here ever again

    Great experience overall. Seamless booking. Food (pizzas) was excellent, pasta (not very authentic...onions in carbonara??) and cocktails were watered down.
