   Drinks expertly made from well-stocked bar, good choice of menu items. The BEST Creme Brulee I've found west of New Orleans! This is a popular spot, so reservations are necessary. Enjoy!

   We've been coming to The Vault for years. It's hands down one of the best gems in the area. Absolutely delicious, and outstanding. Service is always on point. We came tonight for our Anniversary.

   They were out of several entree’s and appetizers. The table was sticky and seemed unclean. I was disappointed with my experience even though the server was great.

   I arrived a little early for my reservation, my table wasn’t ready and took 10 minutes to sit me and they gave us a different table for the door, we asked for the table by the fireplace but were told someone requested that specific table in their reservation which was fine. It took a while for us to get our drink order and took 25 minutes to get our drinks/appetizer after we ordered. After we ordered our food it took over 45 minutes for our food to come and meanwhile tables that were sat after us and ordered after us got our food. No waitress checked in on us in the mean time we finished our drinks and no one asked if we wanted a second or communicated that our food was taking longer than expected. Having experience with waitressing, customer and working kitchens communication is key and is beneficial for customer experience after seeing another table who were sat after us we asked if our food was ready to which the waitress responded it was ready and we asked for it she responded with a short, rude answer that “she only has two hands.” We got some of the specials the seafood bisque was only so due to one shrimp in the side of the bowl. The soup was incredibly salty and inedible. The lobster mac was good but lobster was served in the shell and was not given any tools to remove the meat, so I had to with my hands. It would be better to cook the lobster, remove from shell and add it to the Mac and cheese sauce. Being New Years Eve I appreciate how busy the restaurant was and they were clearly short staffed. When that happens there needs to be an assistant manager or someone who can check on tables and sit people so the servers can focus on serving. Having that extra person who isn’t serving provides additional service to explaining that the kitchen is experiencing delays due to the business.

   Great Ambiance.. staff friendly and once they realized they had not attended our table, comped us our appetizer. Food was good..

   We have lived in Albany since 2005, and only recently in the last year, discovered the vault. Over the years we had heard of this fine restaurant during casual conversations with people, so finally we decided to find out what kind of place it was and we’re pleasantly surprised at how nice and cozy the restaurant is. More than that the drinks are fabulous, the service is excellent and the food is amazing. I love the Brussels, the salmon and fish dinners are amazing with perfect presentation… but my husband loves the brisket burger the most. I highly recommend The Vault for all occasions. You will not be disappointed!!

   Yeah, the noise level was "energetic", I suppose. It only seemed noisy to me - but it seems such to men just about anywhere.

   Delicious food - the nachos currently on the menu were amazing. The chicken breast and NY steak were delicious and perfectly prepared. I do miss the ribeye that use to be on the menu.
