Didn't know what to expect--and we were dazzled! The entire evening exceeded any expectations we had. Had the November Omakase Menu paired with Sake. Each entree was a culinary work of art--as well as a pleasure to the palate. The Velveteen team was exceptional in delivering and describing our entrees (13 on this evening)--including Chef Kim herself. Never felt overfed--nicely paced over 4 hours that flew by. I feel like we'll have something each month to celebrate, because we plan to be back.

Velveteen was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Cool ambiance with so much attention to detail. The food was the star of the show with each tasting better than the last. The service was equally outstanding. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. It's great to have an upscale dining option in the area for special occasions. I will definitely be returning!

This was our second visit and this time we brought some friends with us. We’ve really enjoyed our visit. The service is excellent. The sommelier is knowledgeable and brings in really fun pairings with the food. The ambience and decor is beautiful. The food is delicious and creative. There is nothing else like this in Wenatchee or really within a 2 Hour drive. You have to go to Seattle or Portland to get a meal at this level. The chef has really done her homework and understands the concept of fine dining. I really hope that more people learn about this little gem and turn it into a big success.

The food and atmosphere are next level. Kim, the head chef and owner, was happy to accommodate a vegan diet for part of our party. Needless to say she knocked it out of the park. She also came by our table and walked us through the dishes so we were able to talk food with one of the best. Velveteen is a must for anyone looking for an intimate dining experience.

Everything about my dinner was absolutely perfect, from the moody decor to the very traditional and precise service etiquette. Each dish was crafted with high quality ingredients and expert skill level. Just when you think the meal can't get any better it does. The wines are from varied regions and perfectly pair with each course. The Chef visited each table near the end of the evening to check in and get feedback which is a lost tradition with fine dining. I 100% recommend and I will definitely be returning.

This was an absolutely delightful evening. We took our best friends for one of their birthdays. The food was well curated, every single course made sense and it was wonderful. We had the wine pairing, and it was wonderful all the way through dessert. The service was impeccable, non-intrusive, and totally instructive in terms of what we were receiving on our plate and how it was put together. Kim, Jacob and everyone were wonderful. We will be back.
