Our renowned Victorian tradition of “Afternoon Tea” under the historic banyan tree invites guests to indulge in a variety of tropical tea blends accompanied by a selection of delicious finger sandwiches, scones and delicate pastries.

Please Note we are a cashless restaurant. We only accept credit cards or room charges as form of payment. A 20% gratuity will be added to all parties of 6 or more and for parties of 5 or more that request split checks.
We kindly ask to refrain from balloon decorations to ensure the views for others are respected. Guests are welcome to bring their own cake/dessert for an additional fee of $7 per person.

                                                                It’s always a treat visiting The Veranda for tea. I took my daughter for her birthday this past weekend. I’ve been here several times and it’s always so amazing. Top notch food and ambiance. The hospitality from the wonderful hosts can’t be matched. This visit I had the privilege to have Kala, Kaha’i and Alex host us. They’re amazing. Almost every time I visit I’ve had the absolute pleasure to be received by Kala. She is an absolute joy. A true asset to the Moana Surf Rider. Mahalo!

                                                                Afternoon Tea is indulgent and highly recommended. Not only is it a wonderful experience, I found it a fair value. With several options to choose from, there is something for every palate, including kids. The Veranda is a perfect venue, a view of the ocean is the ideal setting, and the service was perfect with friendly and intuitive staff. Add this to your Bucket List!

                                                                This was the 3rd time I’ve had the High Tea experience at the Veranda and each time the experience is even more amazing and special. This was a birthday celebration for me and Daniel (our server) and the Veranda went above and beyond to make it simply an amazing day! From the added little mini birthday cupcakes for our party (added to the dessert tiers) to the take-home shortbread cookies, combined with the perfect weather and oceanfront seating, it was a perfect experience! Mahalo to Daniel and the staff at the Moana Surfrider!

                                                                Everything you’d expect from a high tea experience. The setting at Veranda was perfect and we were fortunate enough to be seated on the rail and therefore had a superb view of Waikiki Beach and the ocean. The reason for my four star review is that I found most if the savoury items were too salty. The sweet items were all delicious. Ambience was perfect.
