   2 of our drinks were overpriced and not good, 3 other drinks were decent. Service was very slow at the bar and at the table, food took about an hour and it wasn’t busy. Mixed up steak add ons and cook temperature. All steaks were very salty. Chicken in the Alfredo was dry and over cooked and the sauce was very oily. Steak Sammy was best thing at the table. Have been here previously and enjoyed it. Should have listened to the recent reviews. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

   I’ve been to Veritas roughly a dozen times in the last year and a half. All have been great until tonight. Service was disrespectfully slow. 90 minutes in to being sat and 45 minutes after ordering, our food was no where in sight. The Calamari we order was less than 10 Pieces of actual Calamari and a whole lot of fried breading crumbs, our drinks were average at best. When we ordered our second drinks it took over 25 minutes to get them. When the waitress came to clear our appetizer plate we mentioned our drinks had been sitting on the end of the bar for 10 Minutes. She told us those were not our drinks. 10 Minutes later she grabbed the same drinks, that were not ours, and brought them to us. In all my years of eating at restaurants I have never just got up and left until tonight. I told my better half I regret not going to Knights steak house. After leaving we stopped and picked up a pizza and then went home to our son. I suggest not waisting your time here and going elsewhere.

   We have enjoyed our past dinners here, but this time it was totally a mess. We went out on date night and we were both disappointed with the wait service and food. Our waitress excuse was she was “new”, but in reality she didn’t write anything down and consequently forgot nearly everything we asked for. We finally asked for our bill- we will not be returning as the GM even didn’t appear to care about our concerns -

   First off they didn't have our reservation that was confirmed. Terrible experience. Our waitress was defiantly not on her game. Drinks order was wrong, she entered my order wrong and my food took longer because of that mistake. Portion size was very small for the price. Very disappointed with the entire experience.

   This is a beautiful, high end looking restaurant. I was there on a Wednesday night, only one other couple dining. The service was outstanding, however, I couldn't eat but only a few bites of my meal. I ordered the filet, which was grilled to perfection - - but - - EVERYTHING was extremely over salted. I got the potatoes and green beans as my 2 sides and they were over salted as well Everything tasted the same, which was very disappointing. I am from out of town and was in Jackson visiting friends. I never give bad reviews, but hoping because this is something that can easily be corrected, it may help.

   Waited 1hour 15 minutes for our food. When it came my steak was unbelievably salty. Has to send it back and wait another 15 to 20 min for replacement. By then my partner was done eating and I had are my side already. The waitress was amazing tho. Really nice

   Never eaten here before or heard of it, but we were looking for a mid point to meet our friends for dinner. It was excellent. We all enjoyed our mixed drinks, soup was great. All of us very pleased with our 4 different entrees. The desserts were great as well. Waitress was wonderful. Music was a little loud but pleasant. All in all very enjoyable, we will be back.

   We had a reservation for 8pm. We arrived and waited at the front counter for at least 5 minutes before anyone approached us. They said they would be right back and it was another 5 minutes later they arrived. We were seated at a booth with only 1 menu (another one to come) but that never arrived. We sat there at the booth for over 25 minutes and no one approached us. I would bet at least 10 workers walk by us. No water nothing! We ended up leaving and spent our money elsewhere. Very disappointed!

    Definitely understaffed. it is sad because it’s not the waitstaff’s fault. They were running around like crazy trying to do their best. Management needs to step it up
