   They have a nice selection of wine, small plates and other items. We started with the Petite Syrah wine by the glass which was very good! For food we started with the Gouda gnocchi-very good but quite rich, and then split the short rib sandwich-delicious! Hope to be back again!

   First time since back since it became Vine & Plate - amazing food! From the tapenade starter to the salmon salad and waygu burgers, everything was cooked to perfection. The drinks were well made, service was excellent and the atmosphere has nice historical Chicago vibe to it. Will definitely be back.

   Took really long for a single appetizer to come out and that’s all we ordered. At least 30 min. Good atmosphere though!!

   Always a great experience and one of our favorite local restaurants. Reminded of downtown when you visit with evolving seasonal drink menu and quaint vibe. My only critique is to change up the menu once in a while.

   Tara's service was excellent. Fig and burrata was exceptional, Olive tampenade with crostini is the best. Love the moclktails. NEver dissapointed here. The consistancy that they continuously exhibit is why this our favorite restaurant in the area now.

   Our server Zach was very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed sharing the various dishes and specials. Fabulous alcohol selection. We’ll definitely be back.

   I found this restaurant and OpenTable pictures look cute so we decided to make a reservation. I reserved a high top table in the bar area. Staff was wonderful and very pleasant. She explained the menu and how it works. Then we ordered our drinks and appetizer the olive tapenade appetizer was so good. we ordered the Cuban sliders and the beef grilled cheese. For dessert we got the carrot cake. It was a great experience. We will definitely be back. The only thing we noticed is when we got home we smelled like cooking oil. Not sure why as we didn’t smell it while we were there.

   Tried Vine and Plate for the first time and was more than satisfied. Excellent food, service, and the most amazing drink I've ever had, the Elderflower Pear Martini.

    Horrible service. we had to find the waitress and ask her to take our order. Food took way too long to come (this is a to tiny restaurant, only a handful of tables.). She brought one entree out. Ten minutes later a second entree. 20 minutes later the last two entrees. No apologies. No explanation. I still tipped even thought she did not earn a tip at all. We come here all the time but I doubt we’ll be back. Food wasn’t as good as the last time, either. I ordered the short rib panini that I have ordered many times in the past. There either was no fig jam on it or very little. It’s the best part of the sandwich. Sorry to say this place has gone downhill.
