   Virgil's Gullah Kitchen & Bar - Conyers was a fantastic surprise! My family and I were celebrating my son's birthday and the food was delicious! I had to fight my granddaughter for the last bussin corn muffin. The sammen balls were awesome and I didn't even get a fried green tomato. And those were the appetizers! I definitely recommend the fish and grits w/gravy. Everyone was so nice and Tee was a phenomenal server. I told her I was coming back without my family and I live in Athens. Don't sleep on Virgil's. Get there early. You won't be disappointed.

   I enjoyed dining at Virgil’s. It’s a hidden gem in Conyers. The food is always good and the vibe is always on point. I will go again. Reggie was my server and he was delightful.

   I have visited this restaurant several times. And I've never had an experience like I had on Tuesday. There was only one person working as a waiter and the bartender also the food was horrible mac and cheese was hard and cold. The okra was not done. The second plate of mac and cheese that the way to brought out was told to me that it just had just came out the oven it was room temperature. The waiter that was on staff on Tuesday March 11th he did all he could to accommodate us, but I think it was getting to be a little too much for him because people were coming in back to back. I need you guys to get it together so that I can come back and eat some more of that good food I had the first few times I came. Thank you in advance

   This was my first time here. I brought my husband and three children. The ambience was great, the food was great, and the restaurant experience, especially learning about the history and concept of the restaurant was enjoyable. The only issue we had was we waited an hour to get an appetizer due to the fact, our waiter was also the full-time bartender (with a full bar). My husband had to get up multiple times to retrieve items that were already requested. (He hates mediocre customer service!).No shade to the bartender, he was doing the best he could with a full bar and a large table. All while sitting next to us, a table of three had finished their appetizers and starting on their meal by the time we even got an appetizer…AND we sat down 30 minutes before they got there. This all took place while the greeter and manager stood around talking and laughing. Totally unacceptable!!! Again the structure of the shift needed adjusting according to the crowd. The manager should have jumped in, could have jumped in, at any time to help the waiters with their load and not to have customers waiting an hour for an appetizer or anything! I will visit again because the food was excellent, however next time I will not hold my tongue for a review!

   Virgil’s is one of the best restaurants in Conyers GA. The food is indeed spicy and very good. The Manager was so kind. She addressed our one concern and we went on to have a great meal. We recommend this restaurant for a great night out!

   I enjoyed my dinner. The food was good. The restaurant is small and hidden. However, the service was excellent. We were served by a young lady who did everything. She took orders, made the drinks, attended to the to-go orders and sat people. She was amazing.

   Virgil’s is very visually appealing and the ambience is nice. All the staff are nice too. We made a reservation and got seated almost immediately but it took 30-40 minutes just for us to get a server. They were all nice but they seemed really short staffed. My food wasn’t good at all unfortunately and had to be sent back to the kitchen. The server sent it back once he brought it out to our table because of the presentation on the plate and then I also sent it back after tasting it. The corn muffins were good though so I ate those and was okay for the night. I think with adequate staffing the food would’ve been better prepared.

    Everything about Virgil’s was amazing. My only complaint is that we had an 8pm reservation, and due to overbooking, we didn’t sit down until About 9:30pm. It was Valentine’s Day and the restaurant was not prepared therefore we were penalized. However, the food and the service were amazing
