   WE had a delicious lunch. Our server Danielle was attentive and pleasant, engaging with us and helping us with questions we had about our selections. I always enjoy the ambience in the restaurant. It is one of my favorite places to go out for a meal.

   Viron Rondo is one of my favorite restaurants. If you know Carmine’s in NYC, then you will understand when I say this place is the CT version of Carmine’s. We ordered family style and got more than expected. The eggplant chips and chopped salad are great starters. We ordered Chicken Marsala and Rigatoni a la Vodka. Delicious. Since it was my husband’s birthday they brought tiramisu with a candle and a separate cannoli cream with chips on the house. My only hiccup was I asked for the main dining room when I reserved a table for 6. The young man checked us in and brought us to the outdoor veranda room which sat 4 and then had a round table at the end for 2 people, with two heaters on each side of the round table. Far from what I asked for. He spoke in a rehearsed monotone voice and said even though I asked for a specific room, they cannot guarantee my request. I’m sorry, these two rooms couldn’t be further apart in location and ambiance. I refused and went back to the front desk. The owner/manager saw us and quickly remedied the problem. We waited 10 minutes and he seated us in the room I wanted. He sent a delicious, refreshing chopped salad with dill, and a flat bread with melted mozzarella on the house. What class! 🎄❤️

   We had a FABULOUS Experience at Viron Rondo! Our waiter Kyle was probably one of the best waiters we’ve ever had at any restaurant :-), our drinks were refreshing and food delicious! A birthday dessert of coconut cake was truly delightful! We loved the fresh olives and fresh bread! Price points are right on track! All should experience Viron Rondo for an overall fulfilling experience you will always remember, and which will have you returning to Viron Rondo as much as you possibly can!

   We had outstanding meals. The Toscana salad was delicious. My husband &I each had a pasta dish. They were plentiful & delicious. Our sever was attentive & lovely. We w il definitely return.

    My husband celebrated his 78th birthday with a delicious chicken parm dinner. We would recommend giving them a try. The only concern we had was that our table was too close together. We had a hard time getting seated and exiting our table. There were tables on both sides of ours in a row. We were there around 4:30, and there was plenty of available seating that could have been offered to us that would be more comfortable, but it wasn't offered. Considering our age, a better seatting should have been provided.
