   Tonight I had the great pleasure of dining at Virtue to celebrate my husband’s birthday. From the time we walked in the door, nothing but five-star service. The food was great! Thoroughly enjoyed the gumbo as an appetizer. The greens and cornbread are always a hit! My husband ordered the fried green tomatoes and the chicken liver mousse! He said they were both great, especially the mini cakes served with the mousse. He had the fish and grits and loved it. We both ordered drinks, he had an Old Fashioned and I had a Sidecar, both, top tier! It was his first visit to Virtue and he said it wouldn’t be his last! If you haven’t been to Virtue, what are you waiting for?!?!? If you have been, go back! Enjoy!

   Last night ways first time dining at Virtue. I knew it was going to be a good meal, but it turned out to be incredible. Eager to return and try more. Wonderful service and interior. Btw, Cantina Rosa (same restaurant group) around the corner is a great before/after spot.

   Well I was pleased, with reservation, arrived at 1845, we were seating within minutes. Service was great and food was excellent. When in Chi-town again this will be a must visit.

   The food, service and ambience can’t be beat. It’s not conversation friendly but everything else makes it worth it.

   Food was delicious. It was a great experience. Service was average. Would have appreciated being told all parties had to be there before getting seated included while booking reservations. Did not like being forced to pay for their employees health insurance. Should be your responsibility not the customers.
