   The service was very poor unfortunately. The food took FOREVER and there was no other customers in the restaurant. A couple drink orders were wrong and the bloody Mary’s were thick as smoothies and the food was just incredibly average. Unfortunate for such a beautiful looking restaurant

   I’ve been to Vicente a handful of times but this was the best! My favorite bottle of wine, the salmon and risotto and the Brussels sprouts! Service from Olivia was perfect.

   We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Vicente and every thing was great from the food to the service. The restaurant surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake so good times!

   VRB is a beautiful restaurant located downstairs in The Carmichael Hotel. We sat at a small table for two. The noise level was quiet the food taste. The vegetarian quiche is a fluffy soufflé of goodness. Paired with the salad and dressing elevated the dish, but pieces of the leaves in my salad were brown, the potatoes were under seasoned, and the chicken sausage was overcooked but edible. My husband enjoyed his western omelette that he described as cooked to perfection. We were hoping to try the blueberry lemon scones but they only had pumpkin. If I could make a suggestion please have an alternative to seasonal scones.

   Our server Olivia who was also the bartender tonight was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. She also created a great mock tail for my girlfriend who is allergic to alcohol. We love the atmosphere. Probably the first time that our entrees were not prepared to the normal perfection that we experienced there. Our salad, soup, dessert and drinks were wonderful. We will be back soon as we love the restaurant and upstairs bar.

   The food was just ok. Service was very slow and it appeared servers and runners were confused about table numbers as the wrong dishes kept coming to tables around us. Staff was pleasant and music outside was lovely. Dessert was the best part of the meal.

    Ambience was/is fantastic. Service and attention to detail by Ann and Amy was perfect. Food left a great deal to be desired. I requested MR-M salmon, it was overdone, dry and grainy. It lacked seasoning. The dish was aborio rice, mushrooms and grilled asparagus. This was all mixed in like a thick soup under the salmon. I can think of a myriad of ways that it could have been presented showing off the variety of ingredients. Plate-tepid. Food-under warm, not hot over all flavor less than acceptable. My impression from the cook’s perspective, sear and bake the salmon, spoon the rice mix into a sauce pan, heat it up, place in the bowl and put salmon on top and serve. My guest got the roast chicken. Over cooked and grainy, potatoes and sautéed squash and zucchini where fine except they were not hot, just tepid. With some little effort 2/3 of the bones could have been removed. Both dishes lacked elegance. I am a big fan of The 101 on Range Line. Every dish I've ever had there has put time and thought into presentation and almost always nails it on all other aspects of food and service. Vivante's food and presentation does not match the atmosphere or service by any stretch of the imagination. With some little effort you could bring the culinary aspects out of MCL and into a true "Vivante".
