   I was excited to take my German mom here for her 90th Birthday dinner...We were given our choice of party tables at which to sit . The print on the paper food and beer menus was really small and hard to make out, but once we passed around a pair of readers, we were pleased to see a wide variety of dining options. The server was friendly and was aware of the menu items but could not offer us any more information. The entrees came out soon and were tasty; however, the sides were minimal and there was no bread offered with the meal. On the whole, we enjoyed ourselves and will probably come back to.sample some new selections off their paper menus.

   Had some family come in from out of town and we all wanted to try something new and this place was fantastic. Great food and drinks!! Highly recommend the Hasenpfeffer.

   I didn’t care for the lack of comfortable table chairs and the lack of atmosphere. The silver ware was less than usable. (My knife could not cut through the cabbage). Took forever to get a glass of wine and one cocktail. The food was ok. If you go to this restaurant don’t have high expectations. You will be disappointed.

   Foods always great! Service is hit or miss (never awful) The seasoned girls servers are always the best, sadly have not had them the last few visits. Outdoors patio music should be thought out better, heavy metal punk may have been the servers choice today, but killed the outdoor vibe for our table and a few others. I do love this place, so will be back.

   We came in from out of town and stumbled upon this gem. We were in town for a week and we liked it so much we went twice. Best German food I’ve had outside of Germany!

   Outstanding German restaurant with authentic food and delicious German beer. Very friendly and attentive waiter with recommendations that were on the money. Had a wonderful dining experience and will definitely be back.

   The food was great - Gem Salad, Spatzle with cheese, Rauchhanchen (awesome!), pork schnitzel, Wurst sampler, Kartoffelpuffer. All were delicious! The service was great - she helped pick wine that we really liked.

    My family and I tried Von Bismarck last evening. What a delightful experience! We have driven by it for years and it was on our list to try. My adult grandson was in town and we wanted to try something new. The German food was authentic and delicious. We tried several of the main dish schnitzels, the cabbage potato cakes, and the plastered potatoes. The service was efficient and friendly. Our server answered our questions about the menu and was very helpful. We ate inside because it was quite windy last night. We look forward to going again and eating outside, which has the look and feel of an authentic Biergarten in Germany.
