We went here for a birthday dinner. It was very quiet, but it was a Monday evening (Christmas Eve eve). We walked in and there was no one at the “desk” to seat us. There appeared to be a laptop open at a chair in the lobby, as if the help was surfing the net during their down time. Once someone (the only server) came out, he told us to “sit anywhere”, so we did. When he came out with menus, we explained that we had reservations which he took note of. They don’t have their liquor license yet, so everything is wine or beer based. We chose a bottle of wine to share amongst the ones drinking red wine and 2 of us ordered kir royales- bubbly with raspberry syrup in this case. We then ordered a charcuterie plate to share amongst the group. It came with a basket of bread. Subsequent bread baskets are $5. The bread was delicious and worth the extra $. Then the entrees came- the menu is still a little limited, but everyone enjoyed what they ate (chicken pistou, seafood crepe, pork dish). We were all quite full and there were a box or two requested. Then dessert was ordered- 2 creme brûlée (honey lavender). Very creamy, sugar was still crystally despite being browned on top. 6 people, wine, appetizer and dessert- under $400 (with decent tip). The restaurant is still working out kinks and since it’s located further away from downtown Canal St in New Smyrna, you’ll have to intend on going, not just “foot traffic” customers. It’s definitely worth a try

This is our fourth visit and we enjoyed eating outside in the courtyard. My husband enjoyed his prosciutto egg and cheese crepe and my ratatouille crepe was outstanding. The buckwheat adds such a rich deep flavor to the crispy crepe; we enjoyed the breakfast potatoes as well.

Visited on a cool Wednesday evening so sat inside the restaurant. We were greeted at the door by our Waiter who was courteous and professional from beginning to end. The interior has a warm relaxing feel with plenty of room between tables with a noise level that made it easy to hear one another. The food was excellent and so was the service. We look forward to our next dinner at Voo La Voo 😊

This little restaurant is a hidden gem. Just a bit off the main street in New Smyrna Beach. We have been there several times over the last several months. Food is always delicious. Service is top notch. Prices are good as well. We have celebrated special occasions had casual meals and most recently went for their Thanksgiving special menu. All have exceeded our expectations.

Sat outside, beautiful evening. Service was slow at first but waiter was good. Meals tasted great. Fan blowing so not bugs were around. Had a great visit.

This is my third time at the cafe, once for breakfast and twice for dinner. We had breakfast in the garden and everything was lovely. Both my dinner experiences were very excellent. Loved the food; my husband had the seafood crepe both times and I bet the next time we go he’ll have them again. I had the Beef Bourguignon the first time and the pork tenderloin the second time. Both were excellent. While we both love the food the inside dining area is very hard, nothing to muffle the noise. My husband wears hearing aids and even with adjustments it was difficult to carry on a conversation. There was a very loud party the last time we were there so that made it even more difficult. when, not if, you go, DON’T miss out on the escargot bourguignon, best ever, the yukon and carrot purée or the potatoes! Yum. And lavender crème brûlée OMG. While the whole dining experience is a bit pricey it will be our pick for any special occasion or as a treat for guests.

Noise level had everyone shouting and tough to hear. Spoke with wait staff and they are working on it. We had new waitress. Food wasn’t bad, but charcuterie board kinda weak and French onion soup was ok. Cute place with lots of potential once they work out some issues.
