   This restaurant is worth the view but if you are a foodie this is not the place. It was dirty, menus were handed with food smeared across it. Asked for another and it was also dirty.

   Beautiful spot great food great potential I did make a comment to the manager regarding the price point and the glassware that it served in does not meet the ambience in class of the restaurant. I’m sure you can work on that. Even if you break more glasses having nicer glassware, the price point that you’re selling your drinks at that way using that.

   Pretty disappointing brunch—food was really overpriced and service not great. View was nice but not worth the prices—maybe better as a cocktail spot, for brunch the ambiance was cold. Requested a window seat but wasn’t able to get one, and if you don’t have a window seat I would say it’s not worth coming here.

   The food and ambiance was wonderful. However, extremely pricey. One glass of wine was 28$. I would recommend, but knowing that you will have a hefty bill at the end of your experience.

   The Vue was so accommodating. Our flight to DC was delayed so I called to ask if we could push our reservation back and they said of course! We were so excited because we wanted to see DC at night and were not disappointed. The food was wonderful and staff was great. We walked around and took some great pictures! Might see if we can drop back in to see the view in the daytime as well.

   The venue was very dark, and nearly empty. It could be that Washington had experienced record snowfall and frigid temperatures that kept the crowds away. Or it could be that VUE’s drink prices are so outrageously high that people don’t venture in a second time. It was so cold in the place that my friend and I kept our down coats on the entire time. Mind you, we both thought our cocktails were outstanding—but at $28 each, they should have been! Suffice to say, VUE is attempting to capitalize on their view, but with so many other bars in close proximity, I think they will need to rethink their pricing to survive.

    Food was marvelous, especially the braised brisket, which was everyone’s favorite. Service was prompt and attentive Only complaint: ambience and comfort. 6 women, all with coats and purses, crammed into a booth where 4 of us would have felt crowded. Overall design is poor, with clunky floor plan, dated decorative motifs, and all the warmth of a fast food restaurant. The friendliness of staff is its saving grace. Love to see it overhauled with even half the aura of it’s predecessor in Crystal City
