Food was delicious. We had the moreton bay bug dumplings, scallops with wasabi butter and pork belly, soba noodle, enoki mushrooms, green mustard. Loved our choice. All delicious! Dessert was a lemon curd / meringue deconstructed pie, without the pie crust. The wafers they used were wanting. I would have preferred white chocolate or some biscuit crumb. The cocktails made me sad. No intensity. Also it was a terribly hot afternoon and there was no aircon just fans. Pros def outweighed the cons. I will be definitely be back and choose different cocktails and dessert!

Poor service and no where near the standard expected for the cost. We were seated at the outside table and the first sign of sub standard was having to ask the waiter to stop our table from rocking. The food: The starters was 3 butterflied king prawns for $27 done bbq style. Very bland and dry, seriously $9 each when there's a local trawler right next door selling top notch fresh fare is just highway robbery. I had to ask the waiter what the Koji should taste like because it simply tasted like BBQ prawns with the poo vein left in. Alongside that was the Chicken and aoli, .again what amounted to 3 small pieces of KFC chicken for $8 each. Next the mains. We ordered the 400gram sirloin for $75 . Cooked ok but sadly lacking in presentation of any kind with about half a teaspoon of the green yuzu, and a tiny tiny slice of lime. To top it off the side plates were $12 for half a cup of not well cooked rice and $14 for a few soggy habits of bok Choi with barely a hint of soy ginger dressing. For an establishment that is closely tied the the wonderful Arsonist across the road this was a huge letdown

Food was amazing. Love that all plates are designed to share. We ordered 2 starters and 1 main with 2 sides and we (table of 2) were surprised with amount of food. Couldn’t fault any dish and the staff were super attentive. I just felt the decor and ambience inside was a little lacking? It’s very muted and understated, but there was nothing to kind of capture or amplify that we were actually dining above water.

Only thing that brought it down was wait time for food, otherwise everything else was excellent
