   We had a fabulous meal , with brilliant service from the lovely Lauren. Everything was really good ,the steak skewer cooked perfectly and was delicious.

   First time visiting since new owners - food is all obviously freshly made and our waitress Lauren was great - efficient, friendly and helpful. When our food was delayed, we were given a board of complimentary bread - many thanks. We'll be back for a Sunday lunch and can't wait 😋

   Amazing food. We ordered the kebabs which were delicious but also saw fish and chips ordered by next table which looked huge. Lovely comfortable country pub with friendly ambience and delicious food choices. Will definitely go back.

   Lived here for 25 years and first time at the Wattenden Arms. New owners and refurbishment have made it into a very nice pub and restaurant with good food, friendly staff and welcoming to dogs. Highly recommended.

   Lovely well cooked breakfast, great quality ingredients, my partner had the vegetarian option and stated that the veg sausages were delicious. Lovely setting service very good and the coffee was excellent. A bit pricey than norm but as a treat lovely. will definitely do again.

   Really great friendly pub. Lovely people. Wouldn’t mind if they added something healthy to the menu, eg and interesting salad with chicken that is not deep fried

We do have a fabulous house salad, Caesar salad served with chicken, halloumi or salmon on the menu along with fresh fish dishes and a vegetable club sandwich.    We really enjoyed Sunday lunch at the Wattenden Arms. There were a couple of minor issues that were dealt with quickly. The food was outstanding, especially the sharing roast platter and the chocolate brownie. The teens also enjoyed their burgers. It's nice to visit a pub that didn't feel like you were at a chain restaurant. The team were welcoming and friendly, even though it was busy. We will definitely be back.

    A fantastic Sunday lunch in an outstanding local pub. We walked over from Caterham on the Hill and weren’t disappointed. A very clean and cosy, welcoming pub with a friendly team. The roast was delicious and our son loved his sausage and mash. We hope the new team weren’t disheartened by a table near ours, as it seemed they were going to complain whatever. Everyone else in the pub were obviously having a great time. Congrats to the new owners and team.
