Hidden away on the beach with stunning panoramic waterfront views, Waves Restaurant offers an amazingly picturesque dining experience.
As a restaurant, it is just perfect for casual group meals, a romantic dinner for two or for a more elaborate wedding – for which they are very well known. Their interior has an easy, coastal feel with comfortable furniture, letting the ocean take centre stage. With glassed walls allowing the maximums views of the ocean in front of you, the feeling of dining by the sea is as real as it gets.
Their team of chefs have created a seasonal and mouth-watering menu that complements the relaxed, seaside feel of the venue. There are also delicious vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options and a daily specials board. The wine list is also generous in its diversity with sulphate-free, organic wines available as well as delicious local and interstate wines. There is plenty of paid parking right outside their door and they are open 7 days for lunch &

    Food was delicious and generous size. I had the duck laksa. Our friends also enjoyed their food. Service prompt and friendly. Beautiful location on the deck!

    Great table on the balcony in the sun overlooking the beach (bring sunglasses). Beautiful staff and lovely service. Great meals, good size and very hearty.

    We were celebrating a birthday! We ordered the lamb roast to share! The lamb tasted good but disappointed it was served with chips! Roast veggies would have really enhanced this meal. Salad was poorly presented! Lamb needs mustard & mint sauce! For the price it was disappointing!!!

    One of the absolute jewels of beachfront dining here on Melbourne’s south east coast. Recently renovated, fresh and airy with a great view of Frankston beach. A big thank you to Maddie and her service team for accommodating our unfortunate tardiness with a smile and spot on delivery. Food, wine and cocktails are varied, tasty and unpretentious. We had an interstate guest with us who was equally impressed and is looking forward to going back to Waves on his next Melbourne visit. Let’s hope they open the balcony area for dining soon!
