Wir waren an einem Freitagmittag da. Es war recht ruhig. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Gerichte, insbesondere die geräucherte warme Taunusforelle, waren sehr lecker. Preis-Leistung top. Wir hätten nicht vermutet, dass man direkt am Römer so köstlich und preislich fair speisen kann. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, schon alleine wegen der fantastischen Kuchenauswahl.

Wie schön, dass die Weinstube wieder geöffnet hat. Sie hat definitiv am Römer gefehlt. Der Service war hervorragend, auf extra Wünsche wie z.B. laute Radiomusik zu drosseln, wurde freundlich und verständnisvoll eingegangen. Das Essen war gut, lecker und die Portionen absolut korrekt. Die Beleuchtung war zumindest an unserem Tisch ein bisschen grell, aber alles in allem ein schöner Abend in einer traditionsreichen neu eröffneten und gelungenen location.

Nice, traditional German fare in a classic setting. Good location when visiting the Römerberg area. We enjoyed the pork and beef sausages.

Restaurant plutôt joli de l'intérieur, mais très froid en hiver ! Les plats ne sont pas vraiment incroyables, ainsi que la présentation, peu de choix et pas beaucoup de quantité dans l'assiette. Mais surtout, notre serveur (un grand brun) nous a arnaqués en nous présentant la note. Comme nous sommes des touristes, il en a profité pour nous dire que le pourboire n'était pas compté et il nous a forcés à rajouter un pourboire (alors que nous ne voulions pas en laisser car il n'était pas très sympa et le restaurant ne nous a pas beaucoup plu). Nous aurions du refuser de payer plus que la note. Nous ne sommes pas en Amérique !

The menu only had three items, and the food was terrible. Don’t waste your time—go somewhere else. It’s a shame because the location, right in the heart of Frankfurt’s largest square.

Im historischen Ambiente gibt es typische Frankfurter Kost und das bei sehr freundlichem und schnellem Service. Preise für diese Lage absolut angemessen.
