Well Hung Vineyard was started in 2008 by three women in Virginia! “Well Hung” is a well known term within the wine industry for robust grapes hanging low.

Well Hung Vineyard’s wine is sourced from California, Washington & Oregon. Five of our twelve wines have won medals in the last few months. Our Petit Verdot won best in class, out of 200 wineries a few months ago.

Come by and try out our amazing food, wines and cocktail selection from the beauty of our second floor patio, our grand second floor dinning room, or our white oak bar!

Takes a lot for me to leave a bad review. The food was simply terrible. Not fresh, overcooked, and bland. With an abundance of food options in Charleston this has been relegated to only if in starving and nothing is open. Wanted to like. Very bad food.

Food and service was very good. Wine flights were good as well. Would highly recommend the chicken and fried potatoes, best sauce i have ever eaten.

We came because of the reviews but zi wouldn’t not return. It was a Wednesday evening at 7:30 and there was not a single patron in the restaurant. We had asked to sit outdoors to watch the horses go by. Our party of four were seated at the table furthest from the street, by the loud air conditioning unit, despite literally no one else being at any of the tables. We were told this was because it was the only four top. It would have been very easy to put two tables together, especially given they knew we were coming because I had made a reservation. The server was kind but not very attentive, as we sat with empty water glasses for longer than should have happened, especially given that we were the only patrons there. At one point she came out to the veranda to take photos of the sunset. She never even looked back at us, we waited, and finally had to call to her to ask for more water. The food was good enough. The fish was slightly overcooked but only slightly. When we got up to leave we saw no one - not a single person even who worked there. Someone yelled a goodbye from the back kitchen right as we got to the front door. I don’t know how this place stays in business.

Came in for lunch, and Blaine the bartender was amazing, he kept the drinks flowing and the laughter was like no other! If you stop in make sure to ask for Blaine, you will not be disappointed!

Had a flight of wines and dinner. Enjoyed the wines but one was too sweet for us. Food was really good but by 7:15 they were out of oysters. Service was excellent.

Regarding oysters - Our oysters fresh harvested oysters, from Rappahannock Oyster - Which only last a few days, before we dispose of - Unfortunately, we went through a large quantity of oysters, prior to your reservation. Such a fun venue with an awesome story behind it! So glad we sat out on the porch so we could hear the live music that was nearby. Highly recommend the wine, the food and the merch!

Easy to find on Market St. We showed up earlier than our reservation with no issues. Chose to eat upstairs for the open air breeze. Loved their frozen wine slushies and appetizers. Definitely a winner!

One of the best meals we had while in Charleston!The charcuterie board, shrimp and grits, and seafood pasta were all fantastic. Our server, Ashley, gave us a great dining experience, and we chatted with Blaine, the manager, who was great too. Loved the balcony seating and attentiveness of the staff!
