Our dinner last night was amazing! 3 of us had the Thai curry with Baramundi as salmon was not available-but what an option! We all loved it! Great flavor and delicate! The lobster ravioli was spectacular as was the special pork bites -this had a special name but as it was a ‘special’ not on the menu I cannot properly recall it. It was excellent and delicious! Perfect size portion and I always love a bit of salad with this! We then splurged for the 7 layer lemon curd cake which was heavenly and a special treat! We had an excellent server-Jay! All in all it was a divine culinary experience and evening! Well done! 5 stars for sure!

Seated on the covered veranda with view of the St Lawrence River shipping channel. Lovely breezes. Golf carts showing signs of happy residents of this historic park. Cloth tablecloths added a touch of elegance. The meal was wonderful. The Deconstructed Beef Wellington was superb. It was a throwback in time. Well worth the drive!

Our party consisted of four. One ordered the specialty (crepes) and although we were told they are served chilled the person eating them suggests they would be better warmed. A second person ordered the “crabby eggs” and was extremely pleased with it, to the point that he said he’d order them again without hesitation. Third person had French toast and felt it was a bit dense in texture. Fourth person had the beef burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ambiance was, as always, welcoming and relaxing. The staff were perfect in their rapport and service; the jazz combo though a nice touch was almost a distraction. Bottom line - always a terrific experience.

Over the years, my wife and I have come here on our vacations as a farewell fancy dinner before heading home. The attraction has always been the setting - it is simply one of the prettiest places to have dinner anywhere in this country. This is usually balanced out by a fairly expensive meal that while good, isn’t particularly memorable. This year is no different. Appetizer of pork wings was very tasty and properly cooked - tender and fell off the bone. Small and overpriced, but delicious. Lovely small butter crunch salad. Nice vinaigrette and excellent pickled onions. The entrees, while flawed, were good. I had the Thai curry dish with tofu, while my wife had the deconstructed beef Wellington. The Thai curry was very flavorful but was served more like a stew. It was advertised with rice noodles, but came out with a small bowl of rice instead. This would be fine, but the amount of sauce was well out of proportion to the rice provided. It also came with no spoon, which made eating it very difficult. The server (who was very nice) brought me a small spoon which was slightly better, but it really needed a soup spoon. The fix to this would be a larger portion of rice and a soup spoon. Other than that, the dish was good - could use a little more spice, but the flavor was nice. The beef Wellington was an interesting concept, but had some technical issues. My wife wanted it medium well, but appeared to have been unevenly cooked from one side to the other - bottom was well done, while the top half was much closer to medium rare. The steak had obviously been overcooked on one side and they made up for it by undercooking the other side. Still tasty, and not enough of an issue to send back. Dessert was the smoked tiramisu. Very cool presentation, but wouldn’t say that it imparted much of a smoke flavor to the dish. While tasty, I’d say the tiramisu was overly sweet. Again, we had no problem polishing it off. Just mentioning these to assist you. We would eat here again.
