   Great interior, the style was very western, vintage and rustic. Beautiful beams in a the ceiling and good feeling mood of paint. Unfortunately probably due to it being the day after valentines it was packed at seven pm. Definitely having a reservation helped, got our seats within minutes of checking in, too bad our table was next to the kitchen entrance. The hustle and bustle there was far too loud so we requested a quieter table. Again within a few minutes we were seated more towards the back, much better. We ordered the green tomatoes and deviled eggs as appetizers. Honestly both ended up being better than the entrees. I had the sirloin steak medium rare with mashed potatoes and aioli sauce, the sauce was the best part. The steak was very mediocre easy to get anywhere else. She had the salmon, it was very very rich, smoky and fatty. The entire meal was just good. Unfortunately I'd say Whiskey Cake is just a very one and done kinda of place. Wish I had taken more pictures

   Busy place! We both ordered the Fish & Chips, a beer battered large piece of cod. Fish was excellent, chips (fries) were sent back because they were overly salted. Why do restaurants all do that? Tell the kitchen staff to stop it; people know how to salt their own fries!!!!! New fresh and hot fries were quickly provided. Hubby had a side salad; he liked. I ordered the Flash fried brussels sprouts - a bit over the top with additional add-ons - "sunflower seeds, honey-lemon pepper glaze, bbq-lime aioli" - one or more of this combo could have been eliminated because all together it just drowned/overpowered the nice brussels sprouts. We enjoyed the first time visit and will definitely return for another shot at the menu.

   The quantity of food versus price doesn’t make since. Also the limited selection of food and unexpected wait.

   Had a nice time. Booking was a little late, but it was Valentine’s Day and crowded. Napkins with our silverware were dirty, but they were replaced right away. Two of the three starters came very fast, but we had to correct them on the third and it took some time for them to arrive. All in all, we’d go back, but on a less busy night.

   Had dinner reservations 7:40pm Valentine’s Day, was seated about 8pm. Server was fantastic. Food was amazing. Crowded restaurant was very loud, which couldn’t be helped, other than that dinner was perfect! Whiskey cake dessert was amazing!

   This was our first time visiting here because it’s new, we went on Valentines night. It was very very busy which was expected. Once we were seated. The service was really fast. We were not impressed at all with the food, choices or quality. We ended up ordering a hamburger and their version of the Philly cheesesteak And it was not good at all either one of them. We tried the world, famous whiskey cake and we weren’t impressed with that either. I don’t think we will be going back to this restaurant again.

    I want to thank Whiskey Cake for such a remarkable Valentine’s dinner. My wife and I loved the food and I tried an Old Fashioned for the first time. It was excellent! Great atmosphere, perfect place for a date night!
