Within being 15 minutes from the Famous Ullswater what a better way than to end the day in the Lakes than to relax in our cosy Bar & Restaurant, When the sun goes down enjoy the atmosphere of the Acorn lighting and the terrace over looking the Fells.

    Booked in for a late dinner and relaxing break from the kids. I was looking forward to a bit of peace. They had a crooner singer on after 8pm. He was good and provided entertainment enjoyed by many. On another evening, when I wasn't so stressed and looking for quiet, I would have enjoyed it too. I just picked the wrong night. Food was good. Staff were attentive and moved me away from the loud speaker so I could at least enjoy a conversation with my husband. There wasn't anything warning me that there would be a singer on, so my only critique is to inform your guests as they might want it, or they might not.
