   This is my third year of attending the Valentine’s day Visit to White Castle. I attended with my daughter and expected to be greeted by the staff as usual. Instead, all the doors were locked as we viewed the customers eating inside the establishment. We knocked and knocked on the windows but we’re ignored for quite A while. Eventually, after making A ruckus. we were heard. I had to scream through the door that we had A reservation and gave my registration name. Finally the staff member found us on her list. When we entered the entire place looked different than it did the last few years(A good thing). The tired old fashioned booths were gone for good and replaced with tables and chairs. It was roomier as A result. The waitress (yes they have waitress service on only this event ), was quick to seat us and take our orders. the food came quickly and exactly what we ordered. We were not rushed and could relax. Soft music played in the background. We ordered A Sharing meal of sliders and French Fries with A Soft drink.It tasted just right to our desire. There were pretty red tablecloths on each table. There was A burning log screen that was very relaxing to watch placed upon A wall.(Similar to “A Yule Log” at Christmas). The Manager, Ian, was very pleasant to the customers as one can see. But , I had one terrible experience on the way out when using the rest room of which only one room was unlocked (Men’s Room). I locked it when entering, but upon leaving the room and unlocking the inside latch, the door was stuck. I tried every which way to get out but eventually had to bang on the door and scream to let me out. Finally someone heard me and it took A few tries to unlock the door. I am A Claustrophobic person, so being confined inside A Men’s Bathroom proved to be quite A stressful experience for me. All in all These two locked-door experiences took something away from the overall enjoyment of the Cuisine. Otherwise I would have given it more stars as the food was great!

   We couldn't have asked for a better Valentine's celebration! We were made so welcome. We are White Castle fans, so the food was a given. The service and effort put into decorating the Elmhurst White Castle could not be faulted. And the friendly, fun atmosphere, with fellow Valentine's Day diners getting into the spirit of the occasion, was just perfect. All I can say is that we will be back for more on Valentine's Day 2026. Already looking forward to it!

   Where else can lovers go for a more romantic dinner than White Castle. Though over the years, they have done away with the table cloths....this one night a year you can still get waitress service as well as a special Menu for Lovers. My favorite night of the year here

   This was A Choice made for my daughter’s birthday surprise I have been to this special White Castle Valentines day once before so I can compare the two. The last time I attended there were servers dressed as waiters in black formal attire and many balloons and decor. Service was much faster because there were several servers available. This time we only had one person serving not dressed up as well as before and service was slow because of only one person to do it all. The food was good as it always has been. Sliders were great! Very filling and economical. The Manager was very personable in every way. “Happy birthday” was wished with A large piece of cake and lit candles We liked the birthday greetings best! I would do this again, but hope they get it to be more like the last time before Covid. There was more decor and better service. Otherwise enjoyed the atmosphere overall and so did others dining there as well. Other Customers were in A gleeful mood while we were there. My daughter was pleased with her Birthday celebration and the tasty food.

   Absolutely! I eat there once a month and I always try to get a table for Valentines Day. We are greeted and treated with great energy and caring. I love my White Castle and recommend it to my friends all the time!

   I was disappointed that only half the restaurant was decorated and they allowed people from the public to sit and eat. Tables for reservations were small and cramped. They lacked decor and enthusiasm compared to the location I went to last year on Rockaway Blvd. Very little in terms of decor so I didn't take as many pictures. Overall I was disappointed with the experience.

    I really got much more than I expected from a fast food chain. I was seated fairly quickly in the booth that I requested and the waiter approached quickly as well. The service was better than average, and the fast food, was generally tasty. I enjoyed the Valentines Day decorations in red balloons and tablecloths and Crepe Paper. Menus were on the tables customized for the occasion. Everyone around me were in A jovial mood and greeted each other. I eat slowly, but was not rushed. Would go back and told others who never heard of this special weirdly great way to do up A hamburger chain!
