Whitfield, led by Pittsburgher, Executive Chef, and James Beard award nominee Bethany Zozula, serves fare from Western Pennsylvania. With influences culled from the rich and varied culinary traditions of the region's Polish, German, Eastern European, Italian and Jewish settlers, Whitfield's menu honors Pennsylvania's cultural heritage, bountiful agriculture and distinct way of life.

The menu changes with the seasons, but always features hearty, farm-driven food sourced from local ranches, purveyors and artisans. Our steaks are our forte; grass-fed, grass-finished, butchered in-house, dry-aged for 21 days and meant to be shared.

We are open daily for breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner, along with weekend brunch.

Whitfield was named to Bon Appetit's 2016 "Best New Restaurants" and Thrillist's "24 Best Brunch Spots in America" lists

Cool atmosphere in the Ace Hotel for a casual lunch. Food was delicious. Menu was varied. Looking forward to trying dinner or brunch there .

Some of the best, creative and original dishes we've had in a long time! I wish the seats were padded and the noise level was less, but my husband and I still thought it was fantastic and a good value.

It really is a wonderful place to visit if you live here or are in from out of town. Connor was delightful and very gracious with My extensive food restrictions (for medical reasons). The latter can make dining out super hard and even very disappointing and Connor and the team really made it a wonderful experience! Fully recommend early and often!!
