Wild is a small restaurant and wine bar in the regional centre of Castlemaine.
We aim to bring you the best of the regions produce and beverages in a friendly and professional environment.
Our menu is based around sharing plates and we can cater to the single diner through to large groups.

    My girlfriend and I had a lunch on a visit to Castlemaine. Flavourful dishes for reasonable prices. The interior decoration is beautiful. A great stop for very good food with a great service.

    Couldn’t fault it. Great food, fabulous service, good value, and the noise level was fantastic. So quiet we could actually have a conversation! I wish this restaurant was closer to where I live, I would eat here regularly. Thank you for a great experience.

    Lovely staff, gave us the right amount of time to decide on drinks and food. Great suggestions and advice too. The space was ample for our needs (business meeting for 2). Food was very tasty and different, they have their own style.

    The building is set up beautifully and we felt as if we were having a lovely night experience just by being there. But it was a too cramped, hot and stuffy to sit inside so we moved outside. The staff were well trained and so very pleasant: the highlight of our experience. The food was very nicely but simply presented. We travel a lot and considered the lack of flavour and flair a bit disappointing. .. The skill is there but needs to be as brave as the decor and serving staff….let it rip chefs !,,,,we know you can do it ….and use local produce !
