Experience the brand new version of the Wild Dog in 2024! A downtown fixture is under new ownership with a fresh and exciting look and taste. Expect expertly crafted dishes influenced by Executive Chef Rachael Lickteig's extensive experience with Mediterranean cuisine. A warm and inviting atmosphere makes this a great place to enjoy tastes of Italy, Greece, Spain and Portugal right here in Douglas.     We have 3 areas to consider for special event space. Our bar area offers 14 seats at the bar and 20 seats at 5 high top tables by the windows. Our spacious dining room seats approximately 50 people with a fireplace and view of our stunning wine room. Additionally, in the warmer months our serene patio can seat up to about 40 people.

    Staff are excellent Meatballs could use a touch of salt, beets are beautiful and delicious, steak is fine, fries are excellent (slightly crunch outside, soft inside). Half chicken was very tart - too much lemon. Baileys came with ice but was whisked away and brought back neat (probably my fault for over complicating the request - “no ice” would have sufficed).

    Got there for happy hour at 4. Stayed in bar because Wes was a great bartender and server. Recommended special and was delicious. Drinks were on spot.

    Pork chops were gone which changed the option for three of us. One ordered chicken which was not impressive or as expected. Alternate choices of salmon and burgers were fantastic and the service was awesome

    Food was good but not hot except for the pizza. Meatballs were tasty but almost cold. When restaurant filled up, noise level was almost intolerable. Wait staff was friendly.

    The caesar salad with shrimp was under-dressed and the shrimp were over cooked and bland. Would not order again!
