WILD OLIVES

Wild Olives in SeaGrove, Florida features gourmet cheeses and fine wines along with a bistro menu. The menu is well thought out, with salads, platters, small plate offerings and entrées. Chris' burger is the burger you won't forget. Small plates at Wild Olives are made for sharing, and, if you choose several, you can create a meal for your entire party. Love the new location! Wish they had the wine flights like before and your signature cocktail sauce. Miss those but had a great time!!!

We were hoping for great things from Wild Olives but unfortunately they we very understaffed the night of our reservation. First they placed us in a private side room that didn’t have much ambiance & informed us we would have to wait to get waters bc they were out of glasses and needed to wash them for us. Also there was fun but very loud group of 16 in this private room so we kindly asked to be moved to a table in the main area. After about 25 minutes they managed to clean off a table for us and it was immediately a better ambiance. Then it took about another 15 minutes for a waitress to notice our party. She was very apologetic but it took about 20 minutes to get drinks as there was only 1 bartender serving the entire restaurant. So we had been at the restaurant for over an hour before we got drinks. Our apps finally arrived and they were good. But then we waited & waited for our food. Our waitress & the manager both stopped by to apologize for the slowness of the food. About another hour went by before our food came out but by this time our party wasn’t even hungry anymore but was just tired from waiting forever as it was past 10:30pm when we got our food. The staff was as friendly as they could be and they comped us for several items on our bill which we were very appreciative of but it was over 3 hour experience. Unfortunately we probably won’t return.

The absolute WORST restaurant the 4 of us have EVER dined at (this would even include fast food). 2 hours and no food; other diners even went into the kitchen to find out what was the matter. Food finally arrives (The restaurant burst into a round of applause) - REPULSIVE and inedible. Everyone agreed they had never had such a horrible meal. The fact they have a $70 filet on the menu, when it’s below Waffle House quality is 😂😂😂😂 Wild Olives receives an F on all subjects. If a lower grade was available, it would receive that.

We so enjoyed this place! The service was attentive and helpful. The catch of the day was actually FIVE choices; we opted for grouper and red snapper - the simply grilled and the Greek grouper preparations were a perfect fit with what the menu description promised. The red snapper picatta was perfectly prepared for the caper lover - and the snapper shined through. All too often we have to wish that a plate of ‘hot’ food is offered when served; so happy to find this was clearly prepared and quickly served tonight. We”d go back in a heartbeat.- food, atmosphere and service were all top notch.

Good menu, decent happy hour, nice establishment, friendly service and super easy to make a reservation. No credit card needed for reservation or threat of being charged for no show, or list of rules such as charges for splits, or fees for paying with credit card like you get with other establishments in the area.

We really like this place and think it is deserving of your business. This was our second visit and we sat outside both times. Service was excellent as were the drinks. The charcuterie board was outstanding, would easily serve 3-4 people, and had a great variety of items on it. The Ruben, which is made stacked Dagwood style, was delicious and ENORMOUS. I am a big man and a big eater but no way would I eat the whole thing in one sitting. It would be great as a shared entree, if you had 4 people you could even turn it into 4 small plate items. French fries were excellent too, with some kind of blended spice that was just right, no need for salt or pepper. We couldn't have had a better experience.
