Opened in 2006, the first thing you'll experience at Wild Sage American Bistro is the rich earth tones and classic architectural details that make our bistro both relaxing and refined. Walls of windows saturate our interior space with abundant natural light during the day and provide an intimate atmosphere at night. You'll find our three dining areas allow for conversations to flow comfortably yet privately for a wonderful dining experience.
We have designed a menu that allows us to be creative on a daily basis, and work within the limits of what is in season and available. We are always looking for unique ingredients to highlight. Local beef, regional fresh fish, local gardens, heirloom vegetables fruits and tomatoes. We describe our style as “Regionally Sourced Northwest Cuisine”. It just makes sense using local ingredients at the peak of their quality and freshness.

Great harvest salad and amazing Brussel sprouts. Love the popovers. The lamb chops were gamey and cooked medium instead of medium rare. The beans and kale and veggies that came with the chops were delish. Great service.

This was my first time at Wild Sage but I chose due to a great recommendation of friends. I was very pleasantly surprised by the welcome of the hostess and the friend demeanor of the wait staff. They were smiling and showed that they love working there. Me and my 2 friends ordered appetizers Yukon taquitos, cooked Brussel sprouts, and pork belly and fig, along with few drinks, and the night started perfectly, then we had our main entries, and it kept getting better and better, The rack of lamb and Braised short rib were out of this world. The perfect ending of the meal was the dessert. What a wonderful experience. The server (Arianna) (sp?) was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. She took care of us and had a smile all night long. Very sweet and kind. Thank you Wild Sage for making our evening memorable. I will return for sure.

I took my parents there for my mothers birthday. They raved about the amazing food, quiet enough they could hear, but good energy. Great service

Had a great dinner Friday night. Excellent service for our table of six. All meals were outstanding- I especially loved the short rib risotto Milanese. My wife loved the chicken with creamy polenta. The tomato basil soup was hearty and delicious. We dined upstairs- very cozy…

As a local, Wild Sage is by far my favorite restaurant in Spokane. It is where I meet with friends regularly, celebrate special occasions and all my visiting friends have come to love as well. Can’t say enough about it. It is fantastic.
