   Excellent service and food is very good. Cocktails are excellent. The kitchen took over an hour to get food to our table, but the excellent, attentive service (and a comped round of drinks) made it worth waiting for. We were not in a hurry so it was ok with us. We started with a table on the screened-in veranda, but ended up moving inside because the gnats were active and biting. We would definitely dine here again; many delicious options on the dinner menu.

   Nice Monday night dinner on Jekyll Island. Willet’s is a definite upgrade from the hotel’s previous The Reserve steakhouse. Wonderful service from Anna. A very friendly hostess greeted us and the manager stopped by. Our starter salad was comprised of super fresh greens and not doused in dressing. My pork milanese entree was delicious as was my wife’s shrimp entree. Demetrius, the bartender, also is very friendly and customer-focused. Great to see Ashley too who we knew from her decade-plus working at the nearby Jekyll Island Club. She took care of us at breakfast the following morning. Look forward to dining and staying at the Westin again soon!

   The service was fine but the quality of the food was not great. The fried shrimp were so overcooked they and become chewy and tough. My partner had the special which was French onion soup and lamb chops. They had very good flavor only to find out they were left over from 2 nights previous for Valentines Day. This was one of the most expensive meals we had on the islands but was the poorest quality of all meals. There are better options.

   February 15,2025 We’ve always enjoyed The Reserve for its upscale ambiance, but Willet’s was a major letdown. It felt more like a cafeteria—uncomfortable seating, poor service, and a mediocre menu. The shrimp and grits were decent but had smoked sausage, I specifically requested not to have any, My husband’s burger was cooked perfectly. However, service was slow—we waited five minutes for acknowledgment, 15 minutes for drinks, and barely saw our server after our food arrived. The hostess checked in often, but the place was clearly understaffed, especially after 7:30 PM. The wine prices ($56+ per bottle) didn’t match the experience, and dessert was a joke—the peach pie was basically a Pop-Tart with ice cream. Overall, poor service, overpriced menu, and an underwhelming atmosphere. We won’t be back.

   Food was fantastic and the staff were amazing but we were seated in a back room that looks like it was a closet with a couple of tables pushed into it for extra seating. Not what I was looking forward to for a reserved dinner for valentines.

    Wonderful waitress and delicious food. The only disappointment was the Cesar Salad which was bland. I had the loin of pork and my wife had the local red fish, both were delicious.
