Nice place. Had higher expectations based on OpenTable reviews here. Gabby, our server was great. In fact all the staff we encountered were really pleasant and helpful, from host to bartender. Really liked the atmosphere and the place was 1/3 full on a Wednesday. Shared two apps, the Panzanella - very end of season tomatoes were ok, but the octopus was much better. The pesto and carbonara pastas were fine but came to the table warm not hot, and the portions were not generous. Like many restaurants I think they’re struggling with staffing levels on a night like this. 4 dishes, 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine, and a generous tip brought us to $240. Other solid options in downtown and midtown but I’ll come back here sometime.

We celebrated our son’s 27th birthday and had a fabulous time. The food , drink and service were top notch. Tyler, our waiter, made the best suggestions from the menu, and encouraged us to relax and enjoy the experience, we took our time and felt welcome .

I can’t say enough good things about our recent experience at Willow! From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere set the tone for an incredible evening. The highlight of my meal was the Crispy French Skin Chicken Breast, which was absolute perfection. The chicken was cooked to tender, juicy perfection with a wonderfully crispy skin, paired beautifully with the Yukon potato purée, tender carrots, and vibrant broccolini. The chicken jus tied it all together in a way that felt like comfort food elevated to fine dining. My wife had the meatballs appetizer, which were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, paired with perfectly baked focaccia with olive oil and balsamic that was a standout on its own. The seasonal cocktails were delicious—each sip was a masterclass in balance and flavor. The attention to detail in their drink menu rivals some of the best cocktail bars we’ve visited. Finally, the service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without being intrusive. Every recommendation we received was spot-on. Willow is a true gem, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for exceptional food, drinks, and service!

Truly poor execution and delivery of cuisine. Food lacked creativity, flavor, and was (overall) substandard. Three served items were not edible (beet salad was soaked in vinegar, cranberry compote was beyond tart and bitter, and asparagus was overcooked and mushy). Plating was also an afterthought, as was any additional asks (“fresh ground pepper” request was met with a small ramekin of ground pepper). Simple cooking basics were not met - including zero herbs and a dabs of gravy/or sauce that were lacking). A shoestring kitchen budget most likely (ingredients) - but an overpriced menu and cost to the consumer. Terribly disappointing.

Terrific ambiance and special occasion atmosphere; perfectly seasoned tasty food with just enough creativity to keep it interesting visually and flavor wise. The beet salad was to die for. The crab cake appetizer was just lightly crisp on the outside and moist and crabby inside.....a delight! Prime rib with demi glace was well cooked, and beefy in taste with heavenly buttermilk mashed potatoes and broccolini. Pecan Pie was hands down one of the best ever. Oh,...and the focaccia was a splendid treat: hearty in texture with a buttery crumb .....tasted like more! My companions enjoyed their crab stuffed salmon and turkey entree very much and loved their choices for the other courses. Service was friendly, engaging and first rate! We were well taken care of. This was a lovely Thanksgiving dinner! Highly recommend Willow. We'll be back and would like to try out lunch or brunch.

The service was excellent, the food was disappointing. Caesar salad was basic and the dressing was bland. Bruschetta was very good. New York steaks were chewy, so clearly not a prime cut, which I expected at the high end price. Also covered in a teriyaki style sauce that was unappealing. The cheesecake was very good. The lemon cake was straight from a freezer, not good. Cocktail was very good.
