   Our food was a mixed bag. Most of the entrees were terrific but one was undercooked and way late. The waiter, while nice, ke[t getting our order wrong. And the white wine selection was really not very good.

   They were very short staffed. We ordered Manhattan clam chowder, and it was like a veggie soup with huge pieces of vegetables, beans and not clam. We sent it back than ordered salads. They took FOREVER to get to our table and when they gave my salad it was not the way I ordered it. I asked not to have any peppers, (as I am allergic). Of course there were peppers all over the salad. I send it back and never ordered anything else. EXTREMELY disappointed as I have been there many times over the years and the service has always been good as has the food. I will never go back there.

   No one bothered to check reservations to cancel us when they decided to close the restaurant for the day. My friend was on crutches and made his way through icy/snowy streets and sidewalks to the front door only to find it was closed.

   I showed up to the restaurant only to be informed that they were closed. I was not notified ahead of time even though they told me that I was on a list to be called earlier that morning. The temperature was below freezing and I had my 12 month old with me. Because I had the reservation through Opentable I was unable to make another reservation on line, so it took me another 45 minutes to get another table in person. Very disappointed at the whole experience!

   Owners don’t even pay their employees and then FIRE THEM when they ask for their pay. I will never go to a restaurant owned by Winnie again. I know the entire community will ensure that any business she ever tries to open after this doesn’t even get off the ground.

   We shared the avocado toast, the brown rice salad - both excellent and one of us had the manhattan clam chowder. The last was good but lukewarm to the table - detracted from its taste on a cold day.

    I had a party of four. We had a great experience, and our waitress was great and probably on of the best service that we ever had. They did not give us a seat next to the windows and I just received an email that we did not attend. I did check in a stated that we had a reservation, and we did come early. It was for 1:15PM and we arrived at 1PM. Please adjust this since I have been an Open Table member for a long time.
