The food was amazing. Service was fantastic as well. My only complaint is there was about a 45 minute wait for our food after apps had been served.

Here’s a review based on your submission: An outstanding dining experience at WOVEN Seafood & Chophouse by Roy Yamaguchi. Everything from the food to the service and ambiance was exceptional. The highlight of the meal was the miso black cod, which was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The overall atmosphere was sophisticated, and the service staff were attentive and friendly. While the value was very good, it is quite pricey. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a special night out!

We understand the restaurant is new and may be experimenting with new recipes. We all agreed the sushi roll had an odd flavor. The short ribs were good, but were more like a pot roast. The poke bowl got good reviews from my daughter, and the crudo was excellent! All in all, we had mixed reviews.

Not sure if our food experience was typical, but only 3 out of the 4 of us enjoyed our meal. The short rib was a hit. The tuna roll was not a traditional roll with the fish surrounded by the ingredients—the tuna was chopped and sat atop the roll. Harder to eat and almost too much tuna for a bite. The NY steak was cooked fine, but the peppercorn sauce was not great and over powered the flavor of the steak and the cherrywood grill. The fries were not cooked through, but had good potato flavor. The piece of halibut was very small and overcooked. The oysters were amazing and the sauces were a great pairing.

Dear Tiffany, Thank you for your updated review. We love to hear we hit the mark with our short ribs and oysters! We truly appreciate the compliments about our sauces as well. While we're delighted to hear about the wonderful aspects of your visit, we're truly sorry to hear the rest of your meal didn't meet your expectations. We appreciate your feedback about our tuna roll and steak dish, we will be sure to pass it along to the property channel. We hope to have the chance to welcome you again; we'd be grateful for the opportunity to provide you with a better dining experience. Sincerely, The Woven Seafood & Chophouse team

Food was amazing and service top notch! Only hitch is that you have to settle your bar tab prior to being sat at your table if you are waiting in the bar for your table.

This is a tough one because it was Christmas Eve and very busy so I want to give some slack, but then again we know what date Christmas Eve is and that it will be very busy so it is possible to prepare for that chaos, which makes me less sympathetic to the issues we encountered. Pros: incredibly kind staff. Genuinely kind. Food was good (not great). Some elements were fantastic, some missed the mark. For example, my short ribs were melt-in-your-mouth delicious but the vegetable side was not roasted enough so the texture was off. The toast served with the caprese burrata was chewy rather than toasty but the flavors were incredible. Cons: timing was way off. We waited for awhile after we were seated, no offer of drinks or apps. By the time we were served we knew our entire order so got that in right away. The staff kept bringing dishes to the wrong table, forgetting orders, getting orders wrong. Nothing major or un-fix-able, just that attention to detail and timing that makes a nice restaurant a pleasant experience was lacking. My French 75 came without the lemon twist and the guy at the table next to us got a lemon twist in his olive martini. I asked for a recommendation for a wine that would work with salmon and short ribs so my husband and I could share a bottle but the waiter brought individual glasses instead and they didn’t come until we were halfway through our entree. If we wanted individual glasses, we would have selected wine that went best with each of our dishes. Little things like that consistently happened throughout the meal. One other thing that was less than stellar was the seating. The tables were less than 2’ apart. Just far enough apart to squeeze a server in between but close enough I could hear every word the tables on either side of us were saying, which was distracting. Overall, it was good and I would go back but I hope they work on really paying attention to detail and timing. It’s the difference between a good experience and a great one.

We went to Woven for my husband's birthday which is also Christmas eve. My friends told me to be sure to reserve a table in the lower part of the restaurant. The menu was super interesting and we are excited to go back. However, the very bright LED lighting and very modern decor with lots of hard surfaces put us off a little. It was rather cafeteria like. Food was excellent, service was excellent as well.

A truly delightful meal in which every element of every dish was carefully considered and elevated to a high level. Especially delicious was the melt-in-your-mouth grilled salmon.

Overpriced. $50 for a cocktail and an appetizer is extravagant. No real variety for your happy hour menu. Minimal selection. I’m unlikely to come back.
