   Yaya's was busy the last Friday before Christmas, but with a reservation for two we had only a short wait for a table. Trinity provided wonderful and efficient service. Our penne and flatbread meals and our cocktail and wine were delicious, as always.

   This is usually a good spot. But today they had overbooked themselves, and our reserve table wasn’t ready when we arrived. It was a business lunch, and we ended up sitting at the bar. Not the experience I was hoping for.

   We had the Sunday brunch and it was excellent all the around. The food types were plentiful and the quality was quite good. Our server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

    The entire meal was unfortunate from start to finish. When we checked in, the hosts talked amongst themselves that our waitress had just been sat with a large party. The gentleman who seemed like the manager said “just seat them, we’ll figure it out”. (They didn’t figure it out) We then proceeded to wait 25 minutes for drinks and when they did come, 2 of the 6 were missing. The waitress seemed confused on how to serve creamer with our coffees since they were out of creamer pitchers because they were using them for sugar. The serve-yourself brunch looked promising but most of the food was cold, the baked goods were tough and flavorless. I didn’t finish or enjoy anything I ate except the bacon. We had to beg for the plates to be taken. Ultimately not at all worth the $34 a person.
