Yuzu Kitchen brings a experience unique to the 'burgh. Our focus is to use the highest quality ingredients we can obtain and serve ramen, dons, and wok fired stir fry amongst other east asian fare to the highest of standards. We are strong believers that high quality ingredients lead to a better end product in both food and drink.

With a hip and fun atmosphere our casual dining room fills with the sound of hip hop and R&B. Drawing in a wide range of diners; from college students and patrons of the arts to couples out on a night on the town. Within walking distance to many downtown attractions from Market Square to Heinz Hall. Come join us before a show at the Pittsburgh Playhouse or a game at PPG Arena!

    Expectations were high and we were rather disappointed. Initially seated at a table in the back near restrooms that should not be a table. We were moved and then disappointed by service. Food was ho hum. They overbooked and server staff was clearly not sufficient. Server was courteous, but rushed and overloaded with other tables. Then waited more to pay. 2 stars all around. Please do better.

    We love Yuzu. We’ve probably been there 20 times. This was our first time upstairs. It took a little longer to get our drinks, but to be expected with the amount of people there. Food was excellent per usual.

    We were sat immediately but waited for 15 minutes before someone came. And that was just because we contacted the hostess. It wasn’t busy either. Our appetizers came after our meals. No real apologies and no comps. Bowls were good but the steak ramen very average.

    Nothing too special, at least as ramen goes; our party of 5 all had a bowl. Dashi was average, ingredients average, service average. Open Table accepted our lunch reservation for 11.45 bu when we arrived we were told they don't open til noon!! (Black Friday). But the hostess was kind, promptly cleaned and set a nice "live edge" hand hewn table. Ramen is supposed to be served piping hot, and all bowls were only tepid; two bowls were missing extra ingredients which were requested when ordering. Not a bad experience, just ordinarily average is all.

    The food was delicious and the price wasn't bad for a nice night out. The server was attentive and they moved our reservation up because our show let out early. A+

    We had a party of 7 for dinner at Yuzu on the night of the Christmas tree lighting downtown. It was packed. The nice folks at Yuzu had our table ready on time even on one of their busiest nights. Service was fast and friendly. The food was excellent, especially the shoyu tare ramen. Creative cocktails as well! Great experience, we will be back.

    We went as a family, ordered spicy wontons and edamame for starters. For a family four, ordered Mongolian steak stir fry, steak fried rice and the karage chicken ramen. This was the right balance of food since we were heading to show. Only issue was the lemonade was quite tart.

    Good food. Great cocktails. We sat at a table but that bar looked great. Would 100% eat here again when visiting Pittsburgh.
