I went to the restaurant at the exact time of my reservation, but I faced a locked door. They are closed in the middle of the day, I saw on site. However, never I was noticed that my online reservation with OpenTable was invalid. Someone should have warned or, even better, I should have never been able to reserve a spot for that time of the day. This misadventure is seriously disappointing and I think I might never go there again due to the personnel's lack of basic organizational abilities, which can be interpreted as a sign of disrespect for the customer.

First time, there but not first time tapas. Food was very good. Lots of choices. Wine choices were good as well. Highly recommend.

We made a return trip here after visiting a few years ago for the Montreal Jazz festival. Z Tapas is well located to many of the jazz festival stages. We went for a tasting of all 12 tapas choices. One was better than the next and a great way to try many different items. Highly recommend this. Service was great and atmosphere was trendy. A must when in Montreal.

Some interpretations of traditional tapas left a bit to be desired, so try with an open mind that this place is, in fact, located in Québec. Efficient bilingual service and approachable prices make this a good fallback to other more popular options near the Place des Arts district.

The food was great as was the presentation. I had a nice cocktail and servers were friendly and efficient! Thé terrasse was a wind tunnel and kind of barren so we ate inside which was very cute. I will definitely go back!

Very unfortunate experience. We had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for service and were then told that we cannot be served! Otherwise Montreal is full of happy, helpful and courteous people. This one was an exception.

We were there two couples for diner before a Jazz festival show , servers were attentive to our time agenda , the service was rapid , the food tasted great ! Further , a small group were singing and playing rather popular songs , the ambiance was great !
