   ,Spectacular food, adequate wiine list, wonderful & helpful service from Jose. We'll be going back especially when we host out-of-town guests. Truely great Mexican food!

   Went for restaurant week & so maybe had higher expectations due to the set price menu. The waitstaff was very kind & attentive. There were just some flavors didn’t feel as upscale as the price & presentation would suggest. We spent over $200 for two fixed menus and a cocktail and a beer, a 20% tip because the service was good. The mezcal drink was way too sweet & hardly smoky, overall not a very well balanced cocktail. Overall the meal was good but there were some ingredients that didn’t taste as high end as the price would suggest (ie. maple syrup in the green Chile croutons, sauces that had the taste of low quality oil, the red velvet cake for dessert was more like a standard birthday cake rather than a high end dessert). If the meal had been priced differently I probably wouldn’t be writing this review but the overall experience didn’t feel comparable to the price and it was a disappointment. That said the presentation of the meal itself was very lovely.

   Dining at Zacatlan was an all around excellent experience. The food was beautifully presented, delicious and interesting. The service was perfect (Jose was our server) - exactly the right degree of attentiveness, timely, and engaging. The setting is charming and lively. Our takeaway after the meal was, “This place is a keeper!”

   Zacatlán was a pleasant surprise. It was amazing dining experience. The service was great. Drinks were phenomenal and the food was exceptional. The octopus app was presented very well and the taste was delicious. I had the lamb with mole and it was a flavor explosion. My gf had the branzino and it was so delicate and flavorful.

    Food was absolutely scrumptious. Prepared perfectly, generous portions, and beautifully served to the eyes delight. Service is fabulous. Our server Jose was very attentive with a great personality and smile. We were seated in the back room area by choice and the area noise level was quite comfortable. It was our first time dining here and definitely a keeper on return visit list
