Three of us went for Sunday brunch after getting our peaches royally kicked in pickleball. While other more reviewed brunch places were jammed packed, Zhora Darling was not at all busy. I was a little skeptical at first, but boy, was I wrong. The food was fantastic! We ordered all 3 of the brunch apps: the waffle battered breakfast sausages, the khachapuri (breakfast pizza), and the nola zeppoles. All were great comfort foods. I ordered the biscuis & gravy while my friends had the avocado toast and the classic breakfast. All were so tasty. My only wish was that I was visiting the Twin Cities longer, so I can check out the karaoke space!

On a grading scale Zhora would receive a solid B - it's fine but not great. The biggest disappointment was they no longer serve oysters - which were still had listed on their website. Service was attentive & very friendly. Ambiance leaned toward very clean dive bar.

We had brunch and it was exceptional. The ricotta pancakes and Norwegian salmon dishes were so tasty and generous portions. The cocktails were also so good. The staff were friendly and informative. We are looking forward to having dinner and experiencing entertainment in the new space next. Highly recommend checking them out.

I really wanted to like this place, but there were several issues. There were only a few people in the restaurant, but the service was quite slow. It took a while to place our orders, and roughly 20 minutes to get our entres. Our starter arrived after the entres. The music was cranked, making conversation difficult even though it was early afternoon. The food was good, but not great. Most importantly, there was no soap on the men's bathroom, and there was to water in the women's restroom... I didn't want to think too hard about the fact that the chef might not have had pristine hands. I hate to leave a so-so review because the waitstaff was very nice. But that's how it was, folks. Sorry.

I wanted to love this place. Came for Easter brunch and surprised to find it almost empty. Nice ambiance and my kids had fun with the pool tables. Hostess and server were so nice. However, the server must have been the only one there and never refilled our coffee or checked on us much and took a while to come take our order. Food came out very quickly, but was bland, cold fries, pancakes were mushy… even my 8yo complained that nothing had any “taste” (seasoning/flavor). Also, they were out of the salmon. Worried they won’t last long, which is too bad as the employees were trying hard.

Thursday night wasn’t too busy which was perfect for a happy hour/dinner to catch up with a friend. Shishito peppers, bacon wrapped dates, salmon, kale salad, carrots and date pudding were all fantastic. Sara helped us have a fantastic evening.
