We just love Zinc. The special appetizer was absolutely scrumptious, the ham just melted in our mouths. Everyone’s entrees were great. Meatloaf was good as always, salmon was cooked perfectly and the fried walleye was crispy and so tasty. The cheesy potatoes that came with it were particularly good! The honey kiwi cake was the perfect ending to a great meal!

The mushroom stuffed chicken and cheeseburger were very good. We ended our meal sharing the caramel apple ice cream which was outstanding! We enjoy dining at Zinc every time we come to the Holland Center for Symphony performances. The servers are very attentive. We have never had a bad meal or experience. Highly recommend!

Had an early reservation and arrived 5 minutes early, but the restaurant was running late. So it felt like the reservation was worthless if it does not save time. Food was mediocre and expensive for the serving size and quality. My chicken was over $25 and had less meat than a chicken sandwich from Chik-filet. My daughter's Spare Ribs tasted good but the meat was far from tender. It was so stringy, we had to ask for toothpicks to clean out teeth. I ordered one drink and had to follow up on it after about 15 minutes, by that time, we were practically done with dinner. it convenient to eat at the Holland Center, I just wish the food was better.

The tables were too small and close together for relaxing ambience. The appetizer, soup, and dessert were better than the two entrees we ordered, but all dishes were well done and attractively displayed. The coffee was served lukewarm. Our server was cheerful and helpful. For us the night we were there, it was a great way to start the evening.

Great place for pre-show dinner. Menu doesn’t change much but I had delicious clam chowder and a wedge salad that were both very tasty. Bar service was slow but dinner was timed perfectly.

We requested a table in a quieter part of the restaurant and were pleased with where they sat us. Our server was very pleasant. However, our soup - which was delicious - was not hot. It was barely warm. The main courses were okay at best. Per the menu, I requested salmon with my salad. The salmon arrived on top of my salad, as expected, but they neglected to remove the skin. It made eating the salad awkward until I removed it myself and set it on my bread plate. The meatloaf sandwich, ordered by my spouse, was okay. The dish was made better by the fries, which were crispy and seasoned well. As friendly as our server was, we rarely saw her and the service was extremely slow. Very very slow. The staff seemed to have a lot going on, but serving the guests didn't seem to be the top priority. This was our third dining experience at Zinc and we love the proximity to the concert hall at the Holland. However, combining all 3 of our visits, we can only rate this restaurant a maximum of 3 out of 5 stars.
