   Wonderful experience in the new decor! Absolutely love the high tea there. The best one in the region by far. Great staff, knowledgeable and attentive. Highly recommended to tea lovers.

   At chateau Laurier you are paying for the ambience. The tea is in pots that cool quickly, the bread for two of the sandwiches was very dry, and the scones were the smallest I have ever seen. Roast beef sandwich was amazing, chicken with cranberries had no cranberries in it. Service was wonderful! Better quality tea at other tea shops. Not a lot for $85 pp

   I was very disappointed. I don’t usually write reviews because how you appreciate food is really personal. But for the price of the holiday tea and the venue, my expectations were for a luxury experience. It was not. It started with a line-up to get to the hostess, our table was not ready and it took at least 5 mn for the waiter to come by. The tea was great… The highlight of the experience. The food was sub-par. Everything was either ordinary or borderline bad…like the spicy eclair. Our experience can be summed up by one of the sandwiches…. Half a croissant with roast beef. My daughter said that this was something she could make at home. And the waiter was really not present… no water refill. I read other comments and it seems like others had the same experience. Sad.

   What a wonderful way to celebrate my mother’s birthday! The decor is beautiful, the staff was extremely sweet and welcoming. The food was exquisite. I 10/10 would recommend!

   Excellent experience to celebrate friend’s 80th birthday. Server Garrick was attentive, helpful and friendly. Zoe’s has been beautifully renovated and creates a lovely ambiance. We enjoyed rediscovering the hotel and admiring the beautiful Christmas trees.

   Overall pleasant. Service was good, sandwiches were a little dry. No white linens on the tables made for a more casual afternoon tea experience, which was unexpected.

   This was our 15th time having afternoon tea at Zoes at the Chateau Laurier during the annual Christmas season. We always ask for a table on the dias by the window. We commented on how the food has changed over the years. This year it was served in as attractive manner as always. It was tasty and generous. The choice of loose tea was interesting and descriptively presented. All in all we were very well pleased with the service, food and location. Zoes has recently been attractively redecorated.

    Afternoon Tea at Zoe's was quite the event, and certainly lives up to the hype. The restaurant has done a stellar job with the renovations and the ambience was quite nice, especially right after the holidays. The staff, particularly Jeanette for our table, were attentive and quick to answer any needs we had. The food was well prepared and many options are available for selecting specific tea genres. Of course, the price is what it is, but to be expected of such a venue evidently! My party was very satisfied with the experience and looks forward to returning soon!
