   We invited few friends tonight at Zola for dinner. Everything was great and our dinner was outstanding. We are planning to go back there next week. Highly recommend the restaurant to everyone.

   Very dim light. Hard to read the menu without bringing the menu to the small burning candle. Service is good. Very noisy guess it is also serves as bar. Pricing to value is in the middle.

   The dishes were just ok. My shortribs were good but the sauce was a tad bit salty. Their warm bread and butter is the star. Salad was just ok would love to see more squash since it was called squash salad. A cocktail menu would be also great.

   It was a good dinner. I got the escargots, it was really tasty and it was great it came with a piece of bread 🥖. Next I got the short ribs, it was a little bit too salty for me, the gratin dauphinois and the mushrooms were great. For the dessert I got the mousse au chocolat it was excellent but a little bit heavy for my stomach. The restaurant is quite dark and the others tables were too close, you can easily follow discussions from others tables.

   We were seated in the front window of the restaurant that had virtually had no light. Ambiance is one thing, but this was beyond that. We had to Ask for more light. The server was terrific and brought us a small light. Also, we asked for some of the food in a doggy bag and half of the food was left out This is the first time anything like that has happened, though. It is one of our favorite restaurants in the Bay Area. We will return again.

   Loved the appetizer with goat cheese and beets. The trip drinks we got were also very unique overall a great place.

    Food is great. rush serice bec its busy. very noisy, people in the bar blocking the way too loud crowd you cant read the server
