Zouk Manchester is a vibrant restaurant off Oxford Road. A dynamic full theatre kitchen allows diners to catch all the action and gives the restaurant a real buzz. With a range of tables available from a cosy two-seater to a booth for sharing with family and friends or a long banquette setting for parties, there’s something for everyone.

Our external flower wall and elegant decor provide plenty of selfie spots for showing off our gorgeous food and your beautiful faces! An all-weather shisha terrace featuring a retractable roof as well as space heaters and snuggly blankets keeps us busy all year round, regardless of the Manchester climate.

Dedicated chefs Mangal and Sajjad pride themselves on flavourful dishes and sharing their skills with the rest of their team. Taking inspiration from India, Pakistan and across Asia as a whole, you'll never grow tired of the choice at Zouk.

Every day in Mumbai thousands of workers look forward to receiving their tiffin lunch. The delivery of these delicious freshly cooked meals, either from a workers home or their favourite restaurant, by the city’s dabbawallas (box carriers) has existed since around 1890. Zouk in Manchester brings you an express lunch with the tiffin. The dishes change every day for a Indian experience for lunch. It is available Monday to Friday 12pm to 4pm. We also have a tiffin grill option available. For a delicious lunch in the heart of Manchester book for Zouk Indian tiffin.

Want to start off by saying this was my first time in Zouk's after having heard a lot of good stuff about it and they were right, the food was lovely, best Sunday roast I've had in a long time! Bit of frustration at the start when ordering, as the menu has changed (but not online) and they now don't offer a kids roast like the online menu says, so having to order the normal sized roast for a 6 year old who didn't want a burger/chicken strips wasn't ideal, however, when we moved on to order our sharing roast for 2, our waiter made us aware that we weren't likely to finish it all between 2 of us, if we ordered a side aswell so my daughter could eat off that with us - brilliant and 5* service there. He was very much right. We ordered the mac and cheese as a side (gorgeous) and all 3 of us were comfortably satisfied by the end. The cocktails were also lovely. As it was mothers day we got a complimentary glass of Prosecco or Mocktail when we sat down, and a complimentary cake to finish, which was a beautiful touch. All of the wait staff were friendly and attentive which is always welcomed. It was quite loud but, for us, it was a good volume as it meant my child's tablet couldn't be heard by anyone else, and it was Mothers Day, so to be expected. I say this only to say that if you want a quiet meal, mid afternoon at the weekend may not be the best time, but if you can get in after most kids are in bed, you're winning ;) We will definitely be back!

This was my second time having a meal here. I wanted to like it, I really did. The food and everything looked so nice on tick-tock. Both times attending however, there were major issues with the menu. Due to their website never being up to date you will never be able to tell what menu will be available when you arrive. The first time that I went was for bottomless brunch. The restaurant had changed the menu but their website did not reflect this. All of the foods that I wanted to try were in the previous menu. The second time I went was for Mother’s Day and again they failed to advertise that it would only be one set menu available. Al a carte was unavailable and they were only serving Sunday roast. Not to mention that I phoned the restaurant several times and even sent emails prior to attending. I wouldn’t recommend going to this spot unless you don’t mind having limited choices or menu changes at the last minute with no one to answer for the inadequacy. Zero stars if I could.

Ramadan Buffet Dinner at Zouks Walking into Zouks for their Ramadan buffet dinner was a pleasant experience—the ambiance was warm and inviting, and I appreciated being able to choose my own seating. However, while the setting set high expectations, the food itself did not quite deliver. The selection was quite limited, which was disappointing for a buffet. That said, the fresh salads were a highlight, with the kuchumber, corn salad, and bean salad standing out as vibrant and refreshing options. Starters were hit-and-miss. The samosas were delightfully crispy, but the Chicken 65 was a major letdown, leaving a harshly sour aftertaste. Given that curries were meant to be the highlight, they fell short—lacking the bold, authentic Asian flavors one would expect, seemingly toned down for a more Western palate. The chicken biryani was similarly underwhelming, with barely any chicken and a lack of depth in its seasoning. However, the chicken seekh kebabs were juicy and flavorful, standing out among the mains. The biggest disappointment was the corn soup, described as creamy but arriving watery and oddly flavored. On the flip side, the absolute star of the night was the lamb leg raan—perfectly cooked, served with herb-spiced roast potatoes, chantenay carrots, broccoli, and a spicy gravy that brought everything together beautifully. Desserts failed to impress. The mini dessert pots, including mango mousse, tiramisu, and panna cotta, all tasted the same—just plain cream with different toppings. They felt more like an uninspired, mass-produced selection you’d find at an all-inclusive resort rather than a thoughtfully curated dessert spread. The only saving grace was the vanilla milk cake and the bread and butter pudding, which at least tasted homemade and had some character. At £30 per person, the buffet felt overpriced given the lack of variety and inconsistent flavors. While a few dishes stood out, the overall experience wasn’t special enough to warrant a return visit.

Thank you for your feedback on the Ramadan buffet at Zouks. We're sorry to hear your experience didn’t meet expectations and appreciate the time you took to share your thoughts. We pride ourselves on using premium ingredients and aim to deliver a great experience for all our guests. While we strive to balance bold flavours, we sometimes moderate spice and flavour intensity to cater to a wider variety of tastes. We value your input and will consider it as we improve our offerings. We're glad you enjoyed the lamb leg raan and seekh kebabs and hope to serve you better in the future.

Not capable of handling a buffet service unfortunately. Stood in a queue for 20-30mins for food that’s cold by the time you get there, then having to make a decision if you going to return later for round 2 knowing you have to wait half a year again. You make the decision to fill three plates with bits of everything on offer and by the time you’ve got to your main it’s like it’s been left outside for an hour, absolutely stone cold. Sorry to say I will not be returning for the buffet.
