Zumbo Cafe incorporates a contemporary bakery café, high tea salon and cocktail bar. A breakfast menu was recently added to the line-up, available Wednesday to Sunday. “We had a lot of customers requesting breakfast and I’m a firm believer in giving them what they want” said Zumbo. “By adding breakfast to the line-up we’re aiming to make the South Yarra space a one stop shop. Customers can grab a fresh pastry and coffee to go, or if they feel like sticking around, sit down for breakfast.
Private party facilities
The vast Alice in Wonderland-esque space features blue-velvet lounges and high ceilings, making it a perfect venue for functions from 10 to 100 people. Whether it’s an intimate soiree for 10 or sit down decadent high tea for 50, or even a cocktail party for 100, we can tailor a menu and beverage package to suit your needs. The flamboyant salon walls are adorned with vivid flamingo artwork – a splendid space for your next event; whatever the occasion may be.

Hi tea was really great, but the wait time in between were a bit legthy!! And it was quite noisy, we could barely hear each other!!!

Food was amazing however service was very poor. The food came out too fast, there wasnt a slow pace of food being brought out so by the time I had finished my first course the scones were cold. Also the staff members had no idea what they were doing, they forgot the menu and also stuffed up our order.

It was great that we could mix up our high tea dining experiences to suit each person & be able to share a wider variety of dishes by choosing different menus between us. Most of all I loved watching the chefs prepare the dishes with such a delicate eye for details. The staff were exceptional. We loved it all!
