Owner Donnette Hansen's attention to detail is reflected in everything from the comfortable refined log cabin setting & landscaped grounds to the seasonally changing menus. Insider's tip: go for the business lunch ($19 for three courses). Sophisticated but not stuffy! Menu hits include elk chops, grilled buffalo tenderloin, Lodge smoked duck gumbo. Do not miss the famous TIED FLY BAR! with its crafted cocktails and views of an acre of grounds, the bar is the most popular seat in the house.     We met another couple we have been friends w for over 25 years. We live far from each other and this is a perfect location to meet up. It’s a lovely fun place and the staff are all so nice and accommodating. The food was spectacular and of course the wine selection cannot be beat!

    Just wanted a nice, quiet place to have appetizers and wine. As a bonus we had beautiful weather and sat outside admiring the Christmas lights. Our waiter was awesome and attentive. So glad to have this gem in our community.

    The meal and decor were excellent - rainbow trout and scallops. Noise level in the small area was a little loud due to closeness of other tables and a table of four young women posing and taking selfies all evening. The biggest minus is the missing, longtime Beverage Manager and Sommelier Marc Boral who is no longer working at the establishment. He always brought joy to the table and we enjoyed his encouragement in helping us explore the wine list. Unfortunately, this will likely be our last visit as we are moving to Atlanta this coming February. Holiday Cheer to All!

    Service started off well but went downhill toward the end. I ordered a dessert cocktail and after 30 minutes, we hadn’t seen the cocktail or our server. It also took a while to get the check and get cashed out. I ordered the fish and prawns and my husband ordered the Texas trio. Both of our food was amazing. We had a two top table right near the front window. I didn’t enjoy this location as we felt sequestered from the rest of the restaurant. Also, almost everyone coming into the restaurant, going to the bar, and many servers and restaurant staff are constantly walking by your table because of the location.

    Slow service. They always seem to be understaffed in Dec. Wine arrived 20 min late. Appetizer ($9 bread) after 30 minutes. Entrees then came out almost at the same time as appetizer.

    We had a wonderful lunch, our server was excellent, he was charming, informative, and just perfect for our group. He had excellent suggestions and was very helpful.
