Rao's, the legendary East Harlem eatery, is now set in Hollywood amongst the studio district branding its third location. Widely acclaimed as one of the hardest reservations in America, Rao's New York was established in 1896 and has not moved locations since its inception.

Featuring iconic classics such as Uncle Vincent's Lemon Chicken, Meatballs, Veal Parmesan, Shrimp Scampi and Baked Clams, Rao's Hollywood showcases all signature Rao's dishes as well as unique additions creating a robust and fulfilling dining experience.

It was fantastic. The only issue we had was that the food was kind of slow to come out, but I think we were there during a big rush. The server apologized profusely without us even making a point of it even offered to comp some of our food. Altogether excellent service

We have been a regular for many years. Food is always solid. Portions are smaller and prices have gone up. Food is still worth it! Great service they always make us feel special. Wonderful wines too!

My family loves Rao’s products so we had to come and try their restaurant. We had Caesar salad and stuffed mushrooms to start. They were very good but could’ve been better. Entrees were spaghetti, carbonara, ragu papardelle, and eggplant Parmesan. They all tasted great! The service was outstanding and the ambiance was very cool. It was a great experience.

Everything was absolutely delicious. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The music was great. And the decor was lovely, especially with the holiday decorations. Definitely recommend.

Very packed for the day after New Year's...couple of large parties, which caused a delay in us getting our food. The waiter was very nice...the food was excellent (as always). I ordered Veal Picatta ... I'm not usually a veal-type person as it tends to be very over-cooked and dry -- but mine was was just terrific (they really know how to cook veal).

This was our first time at Rao's and my hubby and I were so happy to find this old school gem. Got a great, cozy booth in the room where the bar is. Server and staff were so friendly. Food was delicious and portions are very generous. What a wonderful place to spend New Year's Eve. We definitely plan to go back as there are many more dishes we want to try. Thank You!!!
