   Terrific experience from the moment we walked in. Staff were engaged and upbeat. Food was really good. We shared 4 small plates and that was perfect. Cheese board was an exceptional. For dessert we had the Maple Cake. It lived up to expectations. One of the best desserts I have ever had.

   What a wonderful restaurant in a beautiful inn. All the dishes and drinks were excellent, and the service impeccable. Shout out to Bruce for being so accommodating for our large party on a Saturday night 🙏

   1. Our coffee order arrived black, and we weren't asked if we wanted cream for it, which we did, so we had to flag down a server to ask for cream. 2. one sandwich was ordered with a side of fruit, but arrived with a side of fries 3. a burger was expected to arrive with lettuce, tomato and onion, but didn't. The staff was very cordial - but it was different staff who helped correct these 3 issues, not the server who was our main server. He was not as attentive as he should have been - maybe he was still in training. Still, the ambiance at the Woodstock Inn is very good, and we will probably return. It would be nice, though, if we knew that the service was top notch.

   Delightful Dining at Red Rooster Woodstock Inn. The warm ambiance of the lobby leads into the dining room with really nice seating arrangements throughout the room. There are tables with garden views as well as a a variety of seating arrangements. Our food was really delicious and we had the maple cake with maple walnut ice cream for dessert- definite must have!

   Super delicious and healthy Spring menu! Best ever pea hummus, carrot ginger soup, salads, cauliflower “steak,” and vegan or vegetarian pasta!

   Highly recommend the Red Rooster at the Woodstock Inn & Resort! It is very rare to find a restaurant that consistently over many years has excellent food that appeals to every taste and dietary requirement, has very professional and knowledgeable staff, and also has a warm, friendly, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere.

   This was my husband's and my 63rd wedding anniversary and we chose The Woodstock Inn, Red Rooster Room as are first place to dine out since, yes, Covid! It was well worth the wait...the Mussels were beyond compare, husband said hangar steak was delicious, and when wait staff were told it was our anniversary..they even gifted me with my Prosecco! Wait Staff very courteous, and conscientious and would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Vermont and Woodstock in particular.

    We had an incredible fine dining experience at Woodstock Inn's Red Rooster! From service, local recommendations, and the actual food, it was nothing short of amazing. We were visiting from the city and being able to be in such a serene dining room with an intentional and comfortable seating layout, was certainly worth noting.
